This was a good guide but I found that it wasn't relevant to me or what I needed, nor does it seem like a great fit for my readers. This isn't a book that I'll be reviewing on my website for my readers but it may be quite helpful for others.

A really interesting and inspiring read, very clearly written and laid out with easily navigable sections and subject breaks.

This is an ideal for anyone struggling with confidence in a modern day workplace. It give great actionable advice and activities to help build your confidence and address your perceptions of yourself and the larger world.

This would be very useful for anyone who is struggling to present themselves in a workplace, especially in meetings or public speaking.

I enjoyed how easy it is to navigate the book, the chapters are clearly laid out, and it makes it easy to move back and forth as necessary. I liked the author's tone - straight-forward, and not at all patronising, which I must admit was a concern of mine before I began reading.

I have taken away many useful techniques that I will be using and developing going forward.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a copy if this book in exchange for my review.

This is the first self-help book that I have read, so I have nothing to compare it to, but if it is indicative of its type then I can see why self-help books are so popular.

I think this book is marketed in a way that is slightly misleading, and this is one of the main reasons that it didn't rate higher with me. I believed it to be a manual all about confidence, and whilst it is, it is heavily centred around the workplace, specifically presentations and conferences. Yes this is useful, and yes some of these tools can be utilised in everyday life, but I suppose I would have just liked to have seen more everyday content.

Overall, whilst I did enjoy it, and have take certain techniques away from it, I just felt as though the end product was not what I thought it would be.

My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.

This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book has some great ideas for building up confidence and working towards being able to give speeches, etc. Really easy to follow action steps and tips.

I have yet to finish this, as it takes me longer with personal development books than regular novels, but I give this book five stars. It is easy to navigate with chapter overviews given at the beginning so you can easily search for what falls most in alignment with you at the given time.
This book has spoken to so many different aspects of myself and has helped me take a step back and really embrace myself and my perception of self and the world around me. This is a wonderful culmination of research and tools I will be implementing and sharing with those on a similar path.
