What a joy to find your favorite universe, 10 years after the 1st book ...
Even if after 8 books, nothing is really surprising with the same style of plot and writing, I was still very happy to find again the team.
Yes because this is really THE team: Meghan, Ash and Puck. I love them so much !!
The strong point of the book is that it is told from Puck's perspective and frankly I have to say great job to Julie Kagawa. After taking the voices of Meghan, Ash, Ethan, it's Puck turn and we can't deny that it's him in the narration!
But although Puck is pretty central, Julie does not forget Ash and Meghan, who shows us all her power as Iron Queen. I'm still as much a fan of this heroine who has come from so far ... of course, other characters invite themselves, like Nyx, a Forgotten. I liked her, but for me, she was too withdrawn. I am waiting to read the sequel to better judge this character.
Sequel that there will be of course, given the end of this book. The plot was quite "introductory" to the new threat of NeverNever so I expect a lot from the next book for more in-depth development.
Anyway, I'm happy to have been able to read it in advance. I love this universe and these characters so much !!

Full disclosure, I adore anything by Julie Kagawa and The Iron Raven was never going to be any different!

This is such an amazing start to a new series in an old and beloved world. If you liked the Iron Fey series you will love this, and if you haven't read Iron Fey yet I urge you to start, Like NOW!

Thank you for letting me read an early copy of this book. I can't wait to get the physical copy in my hands!
