Super quick read with great representation.
However, something was missing.

The representation - you have great POC and of other culture characters that stand in a very prominent position in the book - Both Harvey and Rose.
Then you have Jamie, who is gay and Max, who is trans. There is so much light shining on these characters, it was amazing to see.

And then there's Rose. It's hard to out words into how I feel. She was not relatable to me at all. I understand her feeling toward the baby, but there was such a coldness to her when it comes to the pregnancy that it seems almost non believable.
Then, the way she treats other people. There is this brutal, icy behavior that she barely takes responsibility for.
It bothered me that we didn't really explore her more to figure out why she was like this.

As I said, the book was really quick, flew through it in a day, but unfortunately, it was not the one for me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for gifting me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this was going to be a light romance read but I found myself getting quickly invested in the characters! I very much enjoyed the writing style and it’s one you’ll finish quickly.
What an emotional rollercoaster! I have a weak spot for love dilemmas.
