A beautifully illustrated book and such a lovely glimpse in to the life of our queen written in a way i would of never expected explaining things based on what she wore. It had facts but yet was still fun to read, I have a daughter who is fascinated by history so this was such a lovely read for her she really enjoyed it.

A beautifully illustrated book which guides young readers through the life of Queen Elizabeth the second and the items of clothing she has worn. A treat for the budding clothing designer or historian.

The illustrations are child friendly, but contain ample detail to show what the clothing was like and the text is a glimpse into the life of a monarch who has lived in the public eye for many a long year.

I enjoyed it and know several youngster who will be thrilled to read this.

The illustrations in this book are some of the best I've ever seen in a long time. Worthy of a queen, we might say. I think this would make an excellent gift for all people, young or old, who are interested in the royals, especially the Queen. Lovely book!

An interesting way of looking at the history of Britain through the clothes and outfits worn by the Queen. This is a very readable biography which would appeal to many younger readers.

I was only able to read the first half of the book as the text was very jumbled in several chapters, hence the 3 star rating. This was unfortunate as I was enjoying it up to that point.

I received a free electronic copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a beautifully illustrated overview of Queen Elizabeth II and her reign told through her wardrobe. It feels like a picture book in it's style and format and as such should be appealing. There isn't a great deal of information here, more bitesize with bright picture spreads to highlight key outfits and points. As such it is attractive but limited.
