There seemed to be a problem when I tried to read this on my kindle. Tried redoubling it but didn’t fix the issue. Not sure what happened here. Sadly couldn’t read and review this book. Stars for feedback purposes on ability to read this, not on the book quality itself

I really enjoyed this graphic novel/comic. It’s geared towards children, however, as someone who is doing an English degree, I found the contents to be enjoyable to read, but also found information I wasn’t aware of. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves literature, and who wants to be potentially be surprised by information they might not have already known about literature. Would love to see more regarding maybe another subject.

I love this series, and this is a great entry! Reminds me of the old Horrible Histories books, making 'boring' topics much more fun and accessible, and gives a great entryway into discovering writers and authors who aren't on the curriculum. I can imagine loving these books if I was a child, and I love them as an adult! Highly highly recommend.

3.5 stars

A fun and educational graphic novel aimed at children. Told in a series of interviews with famous writers from history, Corpse Talk is a well written graphic novel and the illustrations are great.

The historical writers interviewed were a nice mix from various times in history from Homer to Beatrix Potter.

At times I felt that the wall of text in some of the dialogue may be a little offputting for children, but overall this was a fun, educational read and I think this would be perfect for fans of the Horrible Histories series.
