I am almost devastated that this series is over, but the author wrapped it up incredibly well.
I fell in love with these characters and quickly devoured the entire trilogy, not being able to wait to see what would happen next.
Thank you for rekindling my reading addiction.
I'll definitely be seeking out your other series.

Full disclosure: I was given a free ARC for my review on Net Gallery. Below is my honest and spoiler free review.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I am Fox’s target reader. On the surface, I am - I personally love:
- Genre: Urban fantasy
- Background: Paranormal tropes played out in the backdrop of a war.
- Main Character: Brainy protagonists who have a healing gig – in this case within a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital.
- Positive character trait: brain over brawn to fix problems, especially via loopholes.

All big ticks for me… However, this book was one I had to forced myself to finish. It has many of the things I personally hate:

1. A whiny female main character. Everyone thinks main character is wonderful, however, I on the other hand… I want to slap her.
2. An awful love triangle between two ex-lovers *rolls eyes*.
3. The main ex-lover who the main character moons over re-enters her life and her reaction is; “I can’t possibly get back with because he’s going to leave...but he’s so sexy…I can’t help myself!” *facepalm* but like any terrible so-called Rom-Com, suddenly her reasoning why she can’t be with him is now fine, and they bumping uglies together.
4. Also the trope of; an immortal hero that gave up all his power for his lover, but they cannot be together because he a spy and he still has spy stuff to do, but you know he needs main character’s help. It’s just such a so overdone trope and this book doesn’t make it interesting or unique enough to warrant using it.

The ONLY thing I enjoyed about it was Medusa’s baby shower. Those short scenes had SOME originality and humour. Overall, if you enjoyed the first two, or into tired run-of-the-mill-Rom-Coms within an Urban Fantasy setting, this is your happy ever-after. Otherwise AVOID.

This is the final instalment in the Monster MASH trilogy and while the first two books were filled with black humour I felt that Werewolves of London was a bit more angsty and focused on Petra’s hectic love life more than anything else. Don’t get me wrong, there were still some funny moments, Medusa’s baby shower being one of my favourite scenes in the entire series. What do you buy as a gift for a pregnant gorgon? But most of the story seemed to be taken up with a ‘who will Petra chose’ scenario albeit one that played out against a background of a prospective resumption of hostilities between the old and new gods factions not to mention near feral, kamikaze dragons. I do love the secondary characters and would love to see future books featuring Marius and his adventures in his Las Vegas vampire pop music club or Father Marius and his exorcist friends

At first I felt a bit let down by the ending but once I thought about it, it really was the perfect way to end the series and, like with the TV show, makes you think of the futility of war. My one slight issue would be with the title which I don’t get. As far as I can make out the only werewolf from London in the book was Roger!

This is the conclusion of this series, which seems like such a departure from the books I am used to by this author. I must admit my favorite character , Medusa, is not the lead but steals the show. I love the strong female characters in this series. The mixing of mythology and a Military hospital is unique and engaging. I enjoyed this series! I read this book in exchange for an honest review.

It was a good story, but I was lost as I didn't read the previous one/s. I love the characters that you don't usually see in a paranormal story. Medusa was great!

This story is loaded with lots of adventure, paranormal action, interesting characters and quirky humor. Each book in the series is more enjoyable than the last. Adding this series to my favorite list! Enjoy!

For starters, anyone who recalls M*A*S*H, the 1970s and 80s hit TV series, will immediately understand the vibe that runs through this entertaining fantasy story. Petra Robichaud is a surgeon who works in a military hospital that patches up humans, gods, monsters and demi-gods fighting in the never-ending war between old and new gods. It so easily could have been a bleak, angsty read – but it isn’t. Without being tasteless or inappropriate, there are plenty of humorous moments that had me grinning in this finale that ties up this entertaining trilogy.

Petra is struggling to commit to Marcus, the love of her life who she’d mourned – until demi-god Galen crashed into her life. However, he had to return to the front, and because he’d helped her in the first book, his punishment was to be turned into a mortal. They had agreed that their love for each other was probably doomed, so agreed to move on… The romance probably features a bit more in this slice of the adventure – but there is also so much else going on, it didn’t slow the pace and detract from the madcap quality of the humour. It’s always a tricky balance, to successfully pull off comedic moments, without reducing a full-on action adventure story to a farce. However, I think Fox has managed to produce a steady stream of humour – not necessarily laugh-aloud episodes, but certainly they had me grinning throughout – and keep the tension and stakes sufficiently high that the pages flew by as I stayed reading longer than I should to discover what happens next. The only slight niggle I have, is that I’m not sure what the title has to do with anything – this isn’t set in London and while a werewolf certainly features, the main narrative isn’t centred around him. But I’m not going to quibble about it – if Fox wants to use 1970s pop song titles for her books to go with the M*A*S*H theme, that’s fine by me…

All in all, this is an entertaining and satisfying ending to this original, quirky fantasy tale and I’m very glad I picked it up. Recommended for fantasy fans, who like their action-adventure tales accompanied by a dollop of romance and plenty of humour along the way. While I obtained an arc of Werewolves of London from the publishers via Netgalley, the opinions I have expressed are unbiased and my own.
8/10

Werewolves of London by Angie Fox is the final novel in The Monster MASH trilogy. While this paranormal tale can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the series in order. It will give you a better understanding of the characters and what is happening. Angie Fox has given us another engaging story with unique characters, interesting storyline, and plenty of humor. Everything comes to a head in Werewolves of London. There is plenty going on in this book. Petra’s current boyfriend, Marc is ready for the next step, but Petra has yet to get over Galen. Galen, the former demigod, returns with a wounded dragon shifter who has had dreams of Petra, the one who can see the dead. The cease fire is over which has wounded pouring into the MASH unit. They need to keep Galen and his guest under wraps. Petra will have to trust others if they are going to pull it off. A new prophecy is announced that involves Petra and a bronze weapon. It is time for Medusa’s baby shower and Petra’s attendance is requested (it is not a good idea to say no to a pregnant Gorgon). Medusa will give birth soon and Petra has no idea what to expect. Petra must also figure out which man is the right one for her. I laughed often while reading the Werewolves of London. Medusa’s baby shower and the Gorgon birth were a riot. I enjoy Angie Fox’s conversational writing style which makes her stories a joy to read. The climax was fabulous with a charming ending. Werewolves of London is a diverting tale with outrageous oracles, a crazed chimera, a gorgeous Galen, a wistful werewolf, an offbeat baby shower, a bothersome bronze blade, and puzzling prophecies.

Through NetGalley, I received a free copy of WEREWOLVES OF LONDON (Book 3 of The Monster Mash urban fantasy/paranormal romance series) by Angie Fox in exchange for an honest review. Dr. Petra Robichaud is dreading her upcoming relationship talk. However, her romantic life soon becomes the least of her worries when the war resumes and her presence is demanded at Medusa’s baby shower. To complicate matters, Commander Galen of Delphi shows back up. This time Galen is AWOL, in direct violation of his orders, and being hunted for treason against the new gods. Soon the oracles are again complicating Petra’s life with their declarations of doom and gloom.

I like this author and thought this trilogy was cute. I recommend this book to fans of humorous urban fantasy featuring romance, gods, war, medical procedures, mythical critters, and politics.

This is it! The third and final book of Monster M*A*S*H* trilogy!

Werewolves of London is fast paced, hilarious, and filled with angst, romance, adventure, and suspense. The setting was well crafted. A lot of subplots that will keep the readers entertained. I love how quirky the characters are. The secondary characters are endearing! Petra, the main character, is as snarky as ever. She's independent and imperfect which makes her a great heroine. And Galen is back! Mark's okay but Galen and Petra have so much chemistry together. Angie Fox is amazing author, she's full of surprises.

Overall, this was a fun and wonderful read. This book was a great way to end the trilogy. It was an epic ending!

Gods clash! People fight; they die as pawns for the Gods in a mighty battle that spans eons and worlds! Lovers torn apart by destiny and duty? Sound familiar? Well, you’ll find that here, but with a twist. It is told through the eyes of a female doctor working in a M*A*S*H unit. Yes, it does have that some of the irreverent attitudes of the M*A*S*H unit (Medusa’s baby shower is hysterical), but Hawkeye was never the prophesied destined one to end it all.

This is it! The final book and the final battle. The third of a trilogy, I didn’t read the first two but I was able to understand what was going on. I definitely missed emotional nuances of relationships by reading the last book first and there wasn’t the big build up of suspense before the final battle either. However, it was satisfying and stayed true to characters. It wasn’t your average big bang!

A good read but I think it would have had a lot more impact on me, tugging at heart strings and suspense of the apocalypse, if I had read the first two books. I would definitely read the first two for it sounds like there were a lot of great things happening in the preceding installments.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in return for an honest opinion.

I really enjoyed this book! This is the third and final book in the Monster MASH trilogy and I thought it was a fantastic way to wrap up the trilogy. This is a series that I would recommend reading in order. I was a fan of the first two books in the trilogy so I was excited to see what would happen in this installment. I was hooked by this book right away and ended up reading most of the book in a single day. I found this to be a very entertaining story.

Petra has a rather complicated life. She can see the dead. She is a physician in a MASH unit for the New God army. Her new boyfriend wants to marry her but she still isn't completely over her last boyfriend. She is the key to all of the prophecies. To top it off, the boyfriend she isn't over is back and he brought someone with him.

The war is back in full force and Petra's MASH unit has the patients to prove it. Between caring for the injured, hiding Galen and the dragon he brought with him, and trying to figure out the prophecies, Petra is very busy. The romance plays an important role in this story and I was thrilled that Galen was back. I was never quite on board with her relationship with Mark so I was happy that she might have another chance to be with her true love.

This book had plenty of excitement to keep things interesting and I thought that the climax at the end was very well done. I loved the humor that is a key part of the story. Medusa's baby shower was the laugh I didn't know that I needed. This was a fun read that didn't take itself too seriously and I found it to be a really entertaining read. I would definitely recommend this series to others.

The final book. Petra seems to have finally found some time to relax and do what she enjoys. Being a doctor. The fates don't see that as a future for her. Her back to life exboyfriend is her now boyfriend. That isn't working from the beginning. I am glad when things pick up and Galen comes back. They have three new prophecy they have to work with. She has to now trust people she has worked with and lived with for years. She also has a new kind of friend Medusa having a baby. How does all that tie in with the ending and to top it off Is she going to die? Thanks to the last prophecy it looks like it. This book had all kinds of excitement all to the end where you will be picking your jaw up with how it ends. Such a great ending to a twisted tele.

I enjoyed this series! This is the final book in the trilogy, and tied up the series nicely.

Petra has more prophecies to fulfill in order to finally end this lengthy war, with the final prophecy potentially heartbreaking. She also has the matter of her heart to sort out, with Marc still helping out on her side of the war, and Galen's sudden return.

The ending was a little quick (in my opinion) but I liked the way it all worked out.

I recommend reading the other two books before this one, to give you the best understanding of what's happening.

A fun series, with great characters.

This was a good conclusion to this trilogy. I'm giving it 4 .5 out of 5 stars.

I don't want to give much away, but just know this book is full of adventure, prophecies, old and new gods, and the cutest baby Gorgon ever. I just want to squeeze that baby every time the laughs! It does have a HEA (thank goodness!). really enjoyed this trilogy.

3.5 stars

Our final installment in the Monster MASH series is here! Yay! I am always on the lookout for a new paranormal series and I ran across the first of the series as it was recently republished and I am totally digging it.

Dr. Petra Robichaud has been drafted into the immortal war to be a human trauma surgeon for the new gods' side. She has a secret and forbidden gift that he struggles with daily to hide. Then one day, a demigod shows up on her table with a mortal wound, and BAM! prophecy started. Then her prophecy buddy, Commander Galen of Delphi, dumps her and runs off to do super-secret warrior stuff leaving her desolate and heart-broken. When the prophecies start back up again she is reunited with her thought-to-be ex-dead love of her life. But he wasn't really dead, just a bit of a bastard for letting everyone think he's died. They solve mysteries of the new-er prophecies and sort of stumbled into saving the day? Maybe? Now, life with her ex isn't as cheery as she thought it would be. Medusa is still pregnant and ready to pop at any minute. And then Galen reappears, injured and with another woman. And the prophecies start back up again. It's a mad dash to save the world and figure out who Petra really loves and can depend on.

I wasn't so sure about the last book. I had a few issues about the timing of everything (from the end of relationships to the L-word being dropped so quickly). Overall, this is a super-fun and funny paranormal series featuring a MASH surgeon (a la the MASH that a lot of us old peoples at least slightly remember from back in the day or Nick at Night reruns) and a set of crazy prophecies and even crazier secondary characters. This would have been an overall 4 star for the series BUT I'm not a huge fan of Petra's love jumble. (It wasn't really a triangle and more of a mess, hence, jumble). But, again, overall it worked, I just wish it had been a little less hazy (more clearcut and spaced out) on the timeline of things.

As always, I loved all the secondary characters and I loved that they ALL got a happily ever after.

Again, this book has a more fade-to-black aspect to it instead of an off-page aspect of the lovin'., so, again, the safety-patrol can rest easy.

*It was an honor and a privilege to get to read the entire series. The ARC was provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.*

I was super happy that I got a copy of this book through NetGalley, in exchange for a review which I am happy to provide, and I pretty much devoured it.
You definitely need to read the series in order since the book picks up were the other one left off, the only negative thing I have to say about it, is that the series is over. I loved the characters and the storyline and as with the other books there was plenty of action and suspense with a good dose of romance. Perhaps there will be future books about Petra and Galen and the motley crew but for the moment I will just have to re-read the books to tie me over. A lot of fun and very entertaining.

Going to miss Petra, Galen, and the rest of the MASH gang. I felt the ending was a little rushed but I enjoyed this last book of the trilogy and was happy who she ended up with. I'm actually hoping we get a Emma book in the future. Would love to see some more Medusa!

To quote another reviewer (Nikki R.) "Any book that opens with a warning about Medusa's baby shower (& other fun things) is one that is a must read!" This was a great ending to the trilogy that has a little bit of everything thrown together. Well done to Angie Fox for showing me once again why she is one of my favorite authors, especially when in need of laughs.

Oh, man. I must say this final installment of Petra's ongoing prophetic and relationship woes was everything I wanted. Babies are born, love is in the air (among other places), and prophecies are flying fast and furious.

Naturally, Petra's in the middle of things. Unwillingly, most of the time, but she's still there doing her part to save those she can. Galen's sudden arrival back in camp (his sudden, SECRET arrival, mind you) is something Petra really doesn't want to deal with. Both sides are gunning for him and he's trying to hide a nearly feral dragon. While that's difficult enough, Petra's feelings are still hot and heavy where the big guy is concerned.

Then the prophecies start coming.

A little chaos, a little loving, a whole lot of revelations (about love, life, battle, and...all sorts of things), and a big, dang group coming together to do what they do best. Like I said, it was everything I wanted with a side of scary baby shower. *thumbs up*
