There were plenty of beautiful good poems, I loved the writing style of the author. Especially the poems centered around religion didn't really do much for me but that's mostly because I am not religious myself. I think this was a good debut and the author is very strong for writing this book full of beauty and pain about their own trauma. I truly admire them and wish them all the good things..

Thank you NetGalley for this ebook, in exchange for an honest review.

I really want to like this, but I can't. I do think it's a lot better than most things released these days. Its a good quick read, but you may find the last quarter of it really bad.

Started reading it today and I like it so far ✌🏼♥️ I will write my final, somewhat in depth review when I'm done.

1st edit: I love this book. It's so honest and raw that it made my heart ache like I just went through the same things she went through. But I actually never went through something like that. I feel her pain with evey cell in my heart and body. Greatest poetry book I have ever read. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful collection. The structure added another layer to the storytelling that was very immersive.
This is the perfect collection to pick up while having a wine and winding down on a weekend.
My only real issue was the religious content but only as I can not relate.
If you like poetry akin to Rupi Kaur, you will love this one.

This was beautiful story written in poetry. The words where lovely and meaningful. I love how she written about herself growing and comparing herself to a sunflower. I loved the way she described everything and it was so easy to follow the story. I could not put it down and read it in few hours. You really felt what she was going through. I strongly recommend this book to other people. This story is about love loss, rejection and hope.
Thank you NetGalley and unLYSHed for letting me reading this lovely poetry.

This was one of the few poetry collections that drove me to tears. I don’t know what it is but I really resonated with this poet’s words and her experiences. It’s a beautiful collection and I feel as if everyone can learn something from it.

This is the kind of offering that makes you really see the magic of words. These are the kinds of words that make you feel human. This is such a beautiful collection and I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in it.
