Be sure to check trigger warnings for these*
This contains all three works in the set, which should be read in order. It starts with a mystery, and soon evolves into conspiracies and cults and shadowy people. There are some twists that I didn't see coming, but I don't feel like I was every truly engaged. It's a good set, but definitely check the trigger warnings.

Review: The Many Trilogy by Nathan Field
Three stars for me. The Many Trilogy has an intriguing premise with a strong start, but it didn’t fully deliver on its potential. The first book sets up a gripping mystery—strange deaths, eerie behavioral changes, and a hidden organization pulling the strings. It kept me turning the pages, curious to see where it was all going.
However, as the series progressed, the pacing became uneven. The second book, Ancestral, felt slower, and while it expanded on the story’s dark themes, it didn’t always hold my attention. The final book, The European School, provided answers but relied heavily on exposition, making the conclusion feel less impactful than I’d hoped.
The trilogy’s psychological thriller and dystopian elements are compelling, and the eerie, unsettling tone is well done. But at times, I struggled to connect with the characters, and the darker themes—while effective—were intense and not always balanced by the storytelling.
Overall, it’s a decent read with a solid concept, but it didn’t fully hook me. Fans of mind-bending thrillers with sinister conspiracies may enjoy it more.

I have been trying to read more horror, which is why this book found itself in my request list in the first place. The Many is a complete trilogy by Nathan Field, an author I read for the first time.
This book gave me an uneasy feeling. I am sure that was what the author intended and so this is not a negative issue. But the writing really put me off. The book was too wordy as if the author had to meet a certain word limit. As a rule, I like wordiness (you cannot read Stephen King or Robert Jordan by being critical of wordiness), but at times, I found some of the text really pointless. It took me out of the story as I skimmed over lines of irrelevant text to come to the main story.
2.5 stars.

This was a fun to read trilogy. Each book in this trilogy getting better. Full of page turning mystery and suspense. This is a set which I would recommend to all who enjoy a good read.

Wow! This was super creepy and eerie, it almost gave me nightmares! I really enjoyed the storyline and found it to be a fast paced read. I would love to read more by this author soon!

This started out a little slow paced for me but then I was hanging on every word … needing to know what was next!

DNF'd. This was very long and confusing to me, and I don't know that I will go back to try and read it again

That was so good! Loved the story, had me totally absorbed. Would definitely check out future works from the author.

Nathan Field is a new to me author and I have to say I am looking forward to reading more by this author! I loved this book

I finally finished this trilogy which was intriguing but didn't perhaps capture my interest as much as I had hoped.
It was excellent to have the all three books at once and I suspect the author does intend them to be read as one book. It did cross my mind that maybe it would have been better as one longish book but maybe not.
3.5/5

I really enjoyed this trilogy and was gripped from the very start right the way through, the plot had me intrigued and I raced to the ending which was satisfying.

really enjoyed this trilogy of “The Many” by Nathan Field … loved these characters and cannot wait to read more by this author

This book was everything I look for in a book. It was so exciting. The plot was fantastic. It really had me on the edge of my seat, and my heart racing. It was very well written and flowed well.

The beginning of this book was perfect, but it just got...boring. There were also certain parts and topics that made me uncomfortable. I really did not like the characters or plot.

This was… strange. I liked the plot overall, but the writing was weird. It went from almost boring to super graphic and then back again. Not mad I read it but not sure I would recommend it.

I completely inhaled all three of these books. I found them so absorbing and have recommended them to so many people- they are fantastic.
There is a lot of layers to these books, the characters are dark and mysterious and the writing extremely suspenseful. Loved it! Though I am not sure where they have disappeared to, why can't I buy them?!

Two follow ups to The Many which I read earlier. Shadowy people galore, chases and plenty of violence. Still a page turner and still creepy but not enough to frighten anyone out of their wits! Anyone who enjoyed the first will definitely enjoy numbers two and three when the mystery of who these people are and why they behave like they do is revealed. Lots of time will be needed as it’s a rather chunky book.

This very beginning of the first book was really good. But I hate books about cults and I hate reading about sexual assault unless it's respectfully handled. Though it was fast-paced and well-written. I couldn't even finish the first book.

This one wasn't really my cup of tea, I didn't love the characters and I wasn't engrossed. It had some good elements and might be perfect for someone....just not me :)

I didn’t realise that this was three books in one when I started to read so that was a pleasant surprise!
The story was brilliant and didn’t make me want to skim read it, great page turner.
