A nice book, but not what I thought it would be from the title. Theses are short stories written by women about various incidents and experiences they have had covering a multitude of topics. Not all the stories are funny, but an intresting read.

Gina Barreca arranged a fascinating project -- the backstory of the book is interesting in its own right -- and contributors explore much about life, the world, and injustice in these multi-dimensional short stories.
