A stunning graphic novel. After receiving a sample from Netgalley and the publisher, I immediately purchased a copy. I cannot recommend this enough.

Noooo! Didn't realise this was just a sampler. Started reading it, and just as it was starting to get good, the sampler ended.
Anyway, super excited to see a new book from Windsor-Smith after 16 years without. Can't wait to read the full story, but the sampler teed up something epic - Nazis, secret military departments, a young man with seemingly no past, even though he's missing an eye... Can't wait to read the whole book!

It is really frustrating to request a book only to realise upon downloading that it is just a sampler, and only 14 pages at that! Please do inform Netgalley users of this on the information page, or ideally in the book title. As a sampler, I cannot assess for pacing, sensitive content or plot structure, and with such a small sample I can hardly say I even understand the tone or style of the book.
