All Consuming is the story of Kal and Hannah and their chance at love after ten years apart. They meet each other at their high school reunion and decide to reconnect. While I thought the characters as individuals were sweet, there was hardly any chemistry between them and I found there to be very little conflict in the book to keep me engaged enough to see what happens next and keep reading.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

a cute, romantic relationship growing alongside a though firefighting role. I enjoyed the to and fro of the emotions of our couple as they worked out whether you can go back to your first love or whether the heartache of the in-between years means moving forwards is just too painful and tough. Enough little plot twists to keep me involved to the very end and lots of peripheral characters that make you want to keep reading what Jaci Burton writes about them

I have been sitting on the previous two books in this series so I could binge them all when the third and final book released. Three brothers, not by blood but through the connection forged when living their young lives on the streets, are all saved from a house fire and then adopted by the fire fighter who saved them. The blub of dreams I hear you say, and believe me I felt the same way, until I started reading.

The first book was enjoyable enough, I did find myself questioning the amount of page space being wasted on the lengthy descriptions of daily life, cooking and cleaning have never played such a big part in a book before that I can recall, by the middle of book two I realized that it wasn't a one off and the sexy times thrown in for good measure would not make up for the lack of a decent story-line. I mean seriously how many times can you write pages on what's being eaten, how it was prepared and cooked, and then follow that up with a lengthy paragraph or three on how they cleaned up the kitchen afterwards. Extolling the virtues of a man who knows his way around the kitchen and cleaning up after himself is great the first time, but constantly and through all three books not-so-much!

I absolutely adored the author's Hope series and reading those books in succession did not feel like the author had rolled out the same thing time and time again, but this series was an exercise in mediocrity, don't get me wrong you need the day-to-day as much as the relationship building in any romance but all three books relied far too heavily on the mundane and the rest was added in sparsely just to keep things rolling along from one meal and clean up to the next.

Nothing like I have come to expect from Jaci, and really disappointing, the bones of this series were solid and expectations for three really heart-felt, emotional, and sexy stories were completely off the mark.

Unfortunately I couldn't finish this and not because the writing was bad. It's because I didnt connect with the characters. I didnt care. And the plot did not make me want to read it.
