Unique and interesting look at a mythology that we should feel like we know. The characters were gripping and though the story tended to be a little boring at times.

I loved this, I don’t think I’ve read Vikings and werewolves mixed in mythology before (other than fender obv) so not in PNR so this book was fresh, a unique and interesting twist to werewolves. I loved Sonya's character , loved the depth of emotion and honest reactions and I absolutely adored Ty. It’s a fun read, very addictive. Overall, this is a book with great action and romance , definitely recommend this and I look forward to the next book on the series

I really enjoyed this book and loved the plot!

It had a really good and well developed storyline that was easy to follow. It was well written and I found it to be and addictive read and I read it in an evening.

The characters were brilliantly developed and explosive together, I loved the interaction.

It was a romantic and sexy read – loved every page and plenty of action for me!

3.5 stars - I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pickup and enjoy Bitten & Beholden without reading the first book in the series but I’m curious what the first book is about because book 2 felt very much like a standalone.

The story was really well written (good flow, feel to the plot and an easy read) and it had some new elements to it, but parts felt predictable and Sonya and Ty were likeable but not loveable characters for me. It’s been a while since I read a werewolf story and it brought me back to nostalgic feelings of the tv show Teen Wolf ❤️.

There are some more adult / sexual comments that make this an older YA or adult read.

Thank you to #NetGalley and the author for the gifted copy!

Werewolves are being made without their approval and that violates council code. Unfortunately for Sonya, her date violates the code and bites her over. She doesn't know werewolves exist or what is happening to her. She is assigned a mentor to help her with the process. Ty has secrets and so does Sonya. Their attraction is instant but the relationship is allowed to grow and develop. This is a well written book with significant use of folklore and world building. I read this book in exchange for an honest review.

In this book, we follow the story of Sonya (that we met in the first book) and her journey with becoming a werewolf. She has to leave her life behind in order to follow Ty who will be her teacher in all things varúlfur. In this book, Sonya is looking forward to get revenge Raul who completely changed her life as she knows it. But not everyone is rooting for Sonya and she's being threatened by the different sides of a mysterious conflict between the packs.

If you like Vikings and werewolves then this book was written for you. I really liked the Viking aspect of the book because it differs from the typical werewolf story. I liked Sonya's character even if she could be a bit extreme sometimes in the way that she felt. I absolutely loved Ty and his proper manners.

In the end, this was a good book, with action, romance and a nice dose of mystery. I look forward to reading the next installment.

I received a copy of Bitten & Beholden (Children of Fenrir) by Heather McCorkle from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Overall, this novel missed the mark for me. I felt that the plot should have been interesting given the story's summary, but the plot wasn't evenly paced. Also, I wasn't keen on the main characters - found them to be very one dimensional and not very engaging.
