This book gripped me and was so cleverly plotted that it was hard to know right from wrong.
Though without giving any spoilers, the ending did annoy me and I would have liked an epilogue set 6 months later to find out how it all worked out.
Thank you

I have read and enjoyed other books by this author but this was not one of her best. A tale of a missing woman, female bigamy made it a quick read but the ending was disappointing. I will read more by Adele Parks as I like her storytelling.

A brilliant novel full of twists and turns - just what you'd expect from Adele Parks! I love her writing and always look out for new books from this author. A master of the domestic thriller, which happens to be a fav genre of mine! Would highly recommend this book, completely absorbing and gripping till the final page.

I love the books written by Adele Parks no matter what genre but these last few twisty, domestic page-turners have been just excellent. This is a story about a woman stepping into the life of another woman making a ready-made family her own but finding that not enough she embarks on a separate second life. Someone is not happy with that, and she is punished by someone close to her. Will the police find her before it is too late? This was a rollercoaster thrilling read.

Sadly this was a disappointment for me.. I love Adele Parks books but I felt this one was not up to the usual standard. Such a shame as I so wanted to love it. Still definitely worth a read but no where near as good as her other titles.

Thank you Netgalley.

Absolutely loved this , kept me guessing from the start. Full of twists & addictive characters. I would highly recommend this to anyone tbink
This is my favourite book I’ve read this year. Amazing!

I really enjoyed this book, despite guessing the perpetrator pretty much straight away.

Leigh married to Mark - a very down to earth and ordinary husband.  Leigh didn’t come home after a row.  Kai married to Daan a very handsome, super rich husband with an extraordinary lifestyle.  She just didn’t come back.  As the police investigate, it’s always the husband who gets blamed.

This is such a good book, I would definitely read it again.  It’s so difficult to review it without giving away any spoilers but I would certainly rate it 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. My 86 year-old Mum also read it and she kept phoning me up to give me updates as she read it – she loved it!

3.5 stars

This book was quite entertaining with twists & turns that keep you interested. However the end was so abrupt that I was left feeling like there was unfinished business hence 3.5 stars

I have read nearly all of Adele Parks books and was really looking forward to getting stuck in to this one.

I was gripped, enjoyed the pace of the story and the characters and was caught out by a few of the twists. However the ending for me was way off. Apart from that fantastic read, thank you!

Fantastic from Adele Parks! I'm not sure how realistic the twist felt but fantastic absorbing reading nonetheless.

I really enjoy Adele Parks’s books, so was delighted to be able to read her new one for review in NetGalley. And knowing Ms Parks’s style, I knew the outcome wouldn’t be anything predictable!
I loved the way it was set at the start of the pandemic, already it seems strange and unfamiliar, such a short time afterwards. Real edge of seat stuff, helped along by the frightening, weird period in which it’s set. Great!

I originally got this book through Netgalley with thanks also to the publisher though I took so long to download it that it was archived.

As I was still curious I got a copy from the local Library and once I started reading I found it hard to put down.

It's tricky to say too much without giving the plot away though it's interesting reading the reviews to see who the guilty party was as it crossed my mind.

I'd recommend if you like psychological thrillers and you're prepared to suspend belief as it would be tricky to carry this off in real life (yet similar has happened.)

Thus is another great book by Adele Parks
She never fails to deliver.
The book was believable, the characters seemed real and the twists were unexpected. Great writing as always
Thank you to netgalley and the publishers and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion

Two women are missing, with nothing to obviously connect them, but the investigating officer, DC Clements, can’t shake off the feeling that their disappearances are linked. Is she right?
Both of You is told from multiple viewpoints, none of whom can be wholly trusted, which paints a rounded picture of events, but also adds to the confusion. The pace is a bit uneven in places, though there are lots of unexpected twists to keep you guessing, and what I felt was a fairly unsatisfying ambiguous ending.
The characters are well drawn and clearly defined with distinct voices, but I could not empathise with any of them. Despite this lack of interest in the characters, the quality of the writing kept me turning the pages. At the beginning I suspected everyone and questioned their actions; later on it became obvious who the perpetrator was, but their motivation was far from clear.
I enjoyed Both of You, but it did not quite live up to her previous book, Just My Luck, which I read and really enjoyed last year; there the main character was flawed but still relatable which made all the difference. Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for a digital copy to review.

Like several other readers I found the book enjoyable, but the ending a bit unsatisfactory. It isn't one of her best novels..

As an avid Adele Adele Parks reader I was really excited to recieve an ARC of her latest novel.

Unfortunately for me this one just didn't live up to what I've come to expect from this amazing author.

I'm not 100% sure what it was but I just didnt connect fully with it, I found the characters unrelatable and the story not very plausible in all honesty.

There were definitely positives though! There was the build up of tension, it was well paced and the fact that the narrative involved the recent ongoing pandemic brought it into the here and now and made it relevant to the world going on around us.

Sadly I dont feel this is one of Adele's best but it wont put me off reading what she has in store for us next!

Thanks to netgalley and HQ for the ARC.

Two women go missing from two very different lifestyles but the Police seem to think their disappearance could be connected.
Kept me on the edge of my seat and was shocked by the twist! I wanted to know more though as the ending felt like it stopped too suddenly

I have read an Adele Parks book before and really enjoyed it. I just didn't find this one as easy to get into. I did keep reading because it was more of an unusual story and I do like a different take on things. I wont give anything away as this book might be just for you. To me an enjoyment of a book is down to the readers own perspective and belief system in life.

I was quite dissapointed with the ending although I really enjoy Adele Parks writing. I would day give this a go but there are some much better books by the same author.
