Mediterranean all ways makes me think of feta cheese and olives, This goes far beyond my expectations and has some great unique foods.

I am always looking for new recipes and foods to incorporate into what I prepare for my family. We tried the crispy salmon piccata and holy wow was it ever amazing! I’m definitely looking forward to utilizing this cookbook more, especially for the shrimp entrees.

Thank you to Net Galley and the Publisher for allowing me to read a copy in exchange for my honest review of this book. I just reviewed The New Mediterranean Diet Cookbook by Martina Slajerova; Thomas DeLauer; Nicholas Norwitz; Rohan Kashid. #TheNewMediterraneanDietCookbook #NetGalley

This cookbook starts out by giving readers the health benefits of following this diet and eating certain foods. The recipes in the book do look yummy and most of them have pictures which I like. Some recipes included in the book have fairly uncommon ingredients but no substitution suggestions. Overall, this book felt like just a Keto diet promotion book. I felt like there was more research on keto itself, rather than actual recipes at points in this cookbook.

Highly recommend this cookbook! The new Mediterranean approach to keto emphasize the monounsaturated and omega-3 fats. Most of the recipes are easy and I love the design of the book!

What a great cookbook! Fantastic photos and easy to follow directions. My mouth was watering just reading the recipes and looking at the photos. I really enjoyed the beginning portion which broke down so much information about this diet. It felt very helpful with understanding why this diet will be successful.

4 stars

Some really interesting recipes. I'm reminded to try cauliflower rice in more of my meals and the huge benefits of salmon to health.

I'm going to try the coconut lollies as my husband is a huge coconut fan. I'm going to add this cookbook to my present list :)

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

5* for this great book. The format is excellent and easy to understand. I love that the staple foods are explained in great detail with key points highlights in the yellow boxes. The practical tips are so informing and certainly give you plenty to think about.

Recipes start from page 35 and there are so many great choices in this book that I myself know I will be very busy in the kitchen whipping up delicious healthy meals.

Recipes are easy to follow with all the nutrition facts at the end of each recipe. Each recipe includes interesting information and extra tips for you to experiment with.

There are many fun facts which are all really helpful also.

Pictures of recipes are colourful and give great examples of how your recipes look like.

Each recipe gives you servings, hands on time and overall time.

Overall I was very impressed with this book and will definitely be purchasing this one. Well done to the writers of the book.

Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Fair Winds for the opportunity to read and review this book.

A lot of these recipes sound good but I’m not sure if I would make them. I did like the science behind everything, it creates a better connection to your food.

A well-written cookbook that combines the best ingredients and ideas from two diets

In the first chapter, we are introduced to the thoughts and science behind the new Mediterranean diet as well as some health benefits and tips & tricks.
It lists the 7 high-fat superfoods, 4 runner-ups, and 11 vegetables giving us an overview and a good foundation for making the recipes in the book.
Then it's time for all the delicious dishes categorized under breakfasts, snacks, salads & soup, lunches, dinners, sides, desserts, and basic. This makes it very easy to look up a specific recipe.

I have been on the keto diet before and I like the concept but I usually end up making a lot of the same dishes so I'm always on the lookout for new interesting recipes to try out. I don't have any experience with the Mediterranean diet but the description of the book says they go well together as they use some of the same ingredients so I was very happy when I got a chance to read and review this book.
Reading through the book I'm very excited by the beautiful illustrations of the dishes and the instructions seem easy to follow. I like the simplicity of the ingredients as I have most of the required items already in my kitchen.
After reading and buying lots of books on keto it's hard to find a book that brings something new to the table and while I feel like I definitely will try some of these recipes I just don't think it has enough new knowledge for me. I do like that the authors seems to have a great knowledge on the subject and I think a lot of people will find this book very inspiring.

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds for giving me a chance to read this book. ARC received through Netgalley in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

The beginning of this cookbook gives the reasons for the diet as well as important health benefits of certain foods. The recipes in the book look good with beautiful pictures. Some of the recipes have a lot of ingredients and/or unusual ingredients which may throw some readers off.

A new cookbook for a new diet: a combination of keto and Mediterranean. This book includes a list of top 7 foods to eat on the diet, plus 4 runners-up, and the best vegetables to eat on the diet. I have a few new recipes to try.
