I am a sucker for self help books and anything that will change my mindset to be at a better place in life. In "Start. Suck. Get Better!", Desiree just proves that we truly aren't the only ones feeling the way we do internally about every facet of life.

This book was such an amazing memoir to read about a business owner seeking the correct path in life to land with success and happiness. Her ups and downs are truly relatable and this book inspired me to look for different ways of doing things. Seeking out a new mindset and finding your own path to your success and the happiness that comes with it!

This book is raw and honest from start to finish. The author holds nothing back and is not afraid to hide the struggles and doubt she had on her journey. It’s a refreshing read in that in no way is she ever trying to be perfect. She is just trying to be better and is not afraid to stumble at times.

ARC received from The Next Step PR. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.

For my first ever autobiography, I found this a very easy-to-read book. The author writes in an uncomplicated manner. More so, she’s a very relatable person. Her stories, at times, had me laughing, especially in her early years. I could very much picture her and her situations.

A very interesting and inspirational read for sure.
