I received a copy of this book for my honest opinion.
Our MCs in this book had me sighing with the swoons, laughing out loud, and growling with frustration at different times. But, Oh, What Fun! We have the hard-headed male MC, with a stubborn female MC. He’s hurt from a previous marriage, hard-headed, strong-willed, and sometimes down right charming. She’s also hurt from a previous relationship, strong-willed, stubborn, but also very female. *grins BIG* So, sit back and watch/read the fireworks!

The Rancher's Stubborn Partner is about Matilda and Shane. This is the third book in the series but you could easily read it as a stand-alone.
I read this book in one sitting, it has a good flow and a storyline that kept my attention and I wanted to keep turning the pages.

ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a bit of a let down compared to the first book in the series.
However it was again an easy story to follow even though the chemistry between Shane and Matilda was lacking at times. I also found the relationship between Shane and Drew slightly uncomfortable at times.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

Leslie North consistently brings great characters and passionate romance to life. As a big fan North's, her name provokes an automatic one-click from me. I am always entertained.

Unable to give true feedback due to not being able to download the item. I was very interested in reading this book because I love cowboy romances. The cover is very intriguing and the premise was interesting as well! I like the idea of a cowboy having to deal with a outsider dealing with his ranch when clearly she doesn't follow the cowboy way of life. I have read other books by Leslie North and know that the romance is steamy and I can only assume this is the same.

I had given up on Leslie North books for a while because the plots kept getting less and less believable, but with The Rancher's Stubborn Partner she is right back on track. This is probably one of my favorite books from her since I discovered them a few months ago. The animosity between Matilda and Shane made for some amusing moments early on and made sense considering they each felt the other was encroaching on what was theirs. I also liked the way the relationship between Matilda and Drew developed. Given how in control Shane was used to being it was interesting watching him know he was pushing Drew too hard, but not being able to stop himself. The groundwork for Shane's blowup at Matilda was well established so it didn't come out of nowhere. Although (of course) I was happy to see them get back together I always feel that women in romance novels let the men off too easy when they treat them poorly.

Second in this series and actually a good story. There is the requisite HEA, but the drama and romance between Shane and Matilda, is interesting and intense with a back drop of past life lessons that influence both of their reasonings and how they address their current situation. Ignore the truly terrible cover and add this to your TBR list.

Lmfao! Shane's no-shirt moments were hilarious! Shane was so hard on his kid. Drew was still not mentally prepared to face his fear. But no. I hated the way Shane treated Drew. I lost interest in 68% of this book. I absolutely hated Shane and disliked Matilda. Both of them, didn't have neither the smoothness nor the chemistry to be a couple. It's like the author was forcing them together. Then the author rushed to the epilogue. WTF! They didn't even said 'I love you's to each other in the entire book. Neither confessed their love. Whatever! Ugh! I wanted to DNF this book but finished it because I didn't want to DNF it. Gah!

The horse breeding rancher and the horse healing vet buy the same ranch at the same time through different avenues.

A judge has to determine who the rightful owner is, but this is further complicated by the seller's family trying to prevent the sale on legalities of mental incompetency, as they are planning to change the land from ranching to building, with the big financial gain payouts that would be involved.

The cowboy and the vet meanwhile have been sharing not only trying to help his scared child, the land and facilities, but a physical and emotional connection in their working and private lives.

The judge dismisses the seller's relatives claims on the validity of the sale and before he can deliver his judgement in the ownership ruling the vets suggestion of a joint venture is agreed and made a legal ruling in joint ownership.

Their personal relationship is also revealed as their emotions run free and they kiss and cuddle in court.

With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment and everlasting happiness.

I received this arc for an honest review.
The book opens with Matilda Lowell arriving at a ranch and beginning to set up for her new therapy program. She also realizes how much work the ranch will still need in order to get it up and running. While doing all of this in arrives Shane Radford rodeo star or was at least. They met and then they begin to argue over who owns the ranch as each has a claim to it.
Next, they are in court where the judge announces that they both own it until he decides and just for fun the old man’s family has now thrown their hat into the mix as they think they are entitled to it. While all of the fightings is going on Shane is also dealing with his son who was injured by a horse and seems to respond to Matilda’s ways. Shane though has his own ideas about his son and when he forces his son into riding things with his son, going backward like they were and the progress that was made has been lost.
With the two of them arguing, more work seems to be slowing down and the thought that they could lose the ranch altogether is now possible, along with his son. Can they finally find a way to make it all work? Read this good story and find out. I really liked all of the characters in this book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Ohhh so stubborn!!

In the second book in the Radford ranch series we meet Matilda and Shane. These two start by throwing verbal jabs and demands from the very beginning.

The author writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of these two authors. They write with so much intensity, humor and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: Retired rodeo star Shane Radford has finally made his dream of starting his own horse breeding business come true. Sure, his son Drew, who he’s just gotten custody of, has developed a new fear of horses, but they’ll work that out. The best part is that his new ranch is right next door to his brothers’. Nothing could be more perfect. Except…it turns out vet and horse rehabilitator Matilda Lowell bought the property from the bank on the same day that Shane bought it from the owner, and she’s convinced it’s rightfully hers. A judge rules that they share the property until all the legalities are untangled so now Shane’s stuck with a woman who’s as stubborn as she is beautiful, working on his ranch. They agree to split the barn right down the middle—half for his breeding program and half for her rehabilitation horses. Shane may respect Matilda, may even find her attractive, but she’s his adversary and he’d best not forget it. No matter how well she handles horses. Or how amazing she is with Drew. Or how pretty she looks when she smiles…

Matilda’s sunk everything she has into her business—she can’t afford to give it up. Not even to the guy she’s had a crush on since he became a star. But now that she’s seeing him every day, she’s even more aware of how Shane is gorgeous and smart and… She is in so much trouble. Matilda’s plan was to focus on her business, not be distracted by a sexy cowboy who never seems to wear a shirt. She’d learned the hard way not to get involved with a man she worked with. Yet, here she is, getting involved. And all the while the threat of losing her ranch is looming. What will she do if she has nowhere to keep her sick and injured horses? When her heart gets involved, Matilda is left wondering if the two can share more than a love of horses and a dusty old barn…

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Stubborn Partners up until the very end. I felt for Shane and Matilda. Both were right so I can definitely see where the stubbornness comes from. The Rancher's Stubborn Partner, was a fun book to read.
