This was a very sweet and nice book! I’m glad Noelle called out the two parents for putting so much pressure on her to rat out wyatt’s secrets. This book definitely put me in a Christmas mood!

DNF. I really liked the premise but the writing did not work for me at all. It wouldn't be fair to the book if I finished reading and gave it a low rating.

Such a cute Christmas love story. I loved the real problems that the character encountered, but that the magic was still alive throughout.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. This was an adorable book full of Christmas vibes. And as someone who loves Christmas that is something I really enjoyed. I liked this book from the beginning to the end, and while there where some points in the book where I felt that the plot speed was off it wasn't enough to fully detract from the book.

Noelle has a big decision coming up about whether to apply for an elite dance program that would require her to live at the school. She feels that her current dance school has taken her as far as it can, but she isn't sure she is ready to move away from home especially since it is just her and her dad since her mom died. This book does a great job exploring grief, parent/teen relationships, communication, and the pressures that many teens deal with. Even if a student isn't pursuing a demanding hobby (like dancing or swimming mentioned in the book), it shows the pressure put on kids to give up being a kid in order to pursue success. I thought that this book was great about teaching balance and I also loved the themes of honest and open communication.

I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas felt like reading a Netflix holiday special- it was extremely cute and fluffy. I found the characters really likeable, and the journey they went on was lovely! I can just see this being adapted into a movie. It hit all the markers of a strong YA novel.

Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you net galley for the advance reader copy of this novel. This was a YA contemporary romance novel setca Christmas with star Noelle who is a ballet dancer and babysitter. She falls for her client step son over Christmas. The dialogue was so witty and the situations Noelle finds herself in sometimes cringe worthy. This novel felt real and I am hoping for future books with Coco, Mae and Autumn as the lead character. Great job!!!

I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas was such a pleasant surprise and one of the cutest, most heartwarming contemporaries I've read. Come on, it's a Christmas-themed novel following a ballerina and has a super cute romance? What's not to love?

The book follows Noelle, a fourteen-year-old ballet dancer, on a winter-break ski trip with the family that she babysits, the Kahales, with the unexpected addition of Wyatt Kahale, one of the Kahale kids and also a dancer at the elite dance school that Noelle wants to go to. Noelle faces decisions on where she wants to take her dance career, tension in her relationship with her father, and of course, a little bit of an enemies-to-lovers dynamic with Wyatt, who's not exactly who she thought he'd be.

This book reminds me of a Netflix coming-of-age movie and To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and for those reasons, I'm going to need Netflix to turn this book into a movie ASAP. It honestly reminded me so much of the ski trip from To All the Boys I've Loved Before (there's even a hot tub scene hehe) and Lara Jean and John's relationship from PS I Still Love You, which has a special place in my heart. The story was told in such an endearing way, and I thought the characters were super realistic and dealt with very typical teenage emotions.

And the romance? SWOON. Wyatt Kahale is adorable, and I love how much he cares about Noelle. I also love Noelle so much, and she was a really relatable narrator. I enjoyed seeing her relationship with her father develop and it was interesting to see how grief still affected her, even years later.

Overall, such a great read, and I would definitely recommend I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas to anyone looking for a fluffy Christmas romance!

In a world where finding a contemporary novel about 14 year olds is as hard as finding a tree lighting that Noelle can attend, Tiffany Schmidt is holding down the fort for the freshman, and she doesn't disappoint in her newest book, I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas. She captures the worries, nuance, and wonders of being 14 so well, and her young YA voice is filling a very needed spot in the market.

Noelle is a dancer and shining star of a babysitter who gets invited to babysit over the holidays on her favorite family's vacation.

The romance is a celebrity-crush-on-someone-who-isn't-a-celebrity, which while not a common trope, is a very common feeling for a first real crush. Noelle also deals with grief and the holidays, and the way holidays are still hard years after a loss.

Considering one of her friends is named Mae Primavera (the others are Autumn and Coral) I'm assuming this next series will follow each friend in a different season. I'll be sure to follow them!

Even though I read I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas in March, I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas-themed rom-com by Tiffany Schmidt. Noelle Partridge is a ballet dancer. In fact, she is the best one in her town. She dreams of attending Beacon, an elite ballet school where it just so happens the older brother of her favorite babysitting family goes.

When the Kahale family invites her to go with them to babysit on a skiing trip over Christmas, she decides to say yes, even though she will miss celebrating her favorite holiday with her friends and father. But, things haven't been great with her dad lately, so maybe this is for the best. Surprising everyone, Wyatt shows up on the first night with secrets of his own. Noelle and Wyatt need to find ways to navigate the issues in their own lives plus their growing attraction to each other.

This sweet story combines ballet, romance, family, and Christmas into an entertaining and fun-to-read package. I will definitely be purchasing it for my library.

I adored this book! I’m Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas was exactly the fast, fun, cute read I needed!! Tiffany Schmidt has a way of writing that makes you feel exactly what the main character feels. I went through the roller coaster of emotions and I felt each one as Noelle was feeling them in the story. That doesn’t happen to me very often to me when I read a book.

The story itself was cute without being cheesy or cliche. It was the perfect balance of comedy and romance. I read this book in about two days as the story really pulled me in. All the characters were engaging and relatable. The descriptions of locations allow me to perfectly imagine what they would look like. Well done!

Cute, Christmas-themed rom-com.. Noelle Partridge is a teenage girl who loves ballet and Christmas. She loves Christmas so much that she and her friends do Christmas-related things throughout the entire holiday season. Noelle schedules babysitting jobs and dance studio hours around all of these events. But this year, her friends seem to want to do other things and her dad is just absent, as he's been overly distracted by work lately.

When Noelle's favorite family to babysit for asks her to come with them to help with the kids on a ski trip over Christmas break, Noelle jumps at the chance. Her friends are acting like caroling is the end of the world and surely her dad won't care, since he hasn't been paying much attention to her anyway, But then HE shows up. Wyatt, the half-sibling of the kids she's babysitting. Wyatt attends the fancy dance school that Noelle wants to attend and she's been crushing on him forever through photos and videos from the Kahale family.

This one is a lot of fun, but of course predictable. Still, a good read.

I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas was such a fun novel. It gave me full Christmas vibes with a cute budding romance included. I loved the addition of the nutcracker and seeing it through Noelle's eyes as a small town ballerina who has outgrown her study. However, by adding in the little kids, especially Holly and Jack, it creates the magic of Christmas and how your never too old to find that magic.

A fun YA romance perfect for cuddling up with a cup of cocoa! Noelle is a dancer, a babysitter, and a Christmas enthusiast. However, she is feeling unchallenged at the dance school in her small town and her friends and dad seem too busy to celebrate like they used to. So when she is invited by her favorite family to babysit for their Christmas vacation, she packs her bags. With the money earned, she can save up for Beacon, a prestigious dance academy. However, their vacation plans are startled when Wyatt, her charges' older half-brother surprises the family for Christmas. Wyatt is one of the best dancers at Beacon and Noelle is in awe. But she seems to be constantly stepping on his toes, when she learns of Wyatt's true reason for coming, they bond over their looming decisions in their lives. As the days pass, will Christmas magic be enough to give Noelle her dreams?
This was so cute! I read it in a day! Noelle was really struggling with figuring out how she wanted to move forward with her life. After recent tragedies, she felt adrift and disconnected from most of those around her. So she decides to spend time with her favorite family, even if it means being gone for the holidays. It was fun to see her babysitting know-how, she was really experienced and the kids were so fun! Noelle has to learn to confront her problems and deal with her feelings. She learns to express herself in a way that helps solve things, instead of running away. It was so sweet to watch her strengthen and build her relationships, though I definitely was at times saddened at how she reacted to her dad.! She and Wyatt were super cute together! I loved how they connected to one another and could really share their struggles. They were able to help each other see clearly their problems and the possible solutions. He was so sweet with his younger siblings and they adored him… I loved the focus on family, even that which is not by blood.
Overall, I think that I'm Dreaming of a Wyatt Christmas is a fun holiday read for teens and up! The book deals with grief and loss, is a clean YA romance, and involves a blended family.

HA.

That's the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about this book. Laughter.

I am a sucker for rom-coms, and holiday rom-coms especially.

Although I read this in the ides of March, while living in Phoenix, AZ and suffering near 90 degree weather, I wanted it to be Christmas again, curled up around a fire with hot chocolate and a soft blanket. This book just transports you into total rom-com swoon. You'll laugh, squeal, and shake at the banter and relationship between the characters.

Totally can see this becoming a holiday-time tv show.

Thank you for the e-Galley!
