From the very beginning, i.e. the investigation of whether dogs face a certain direction in which to wee I was sold! This is not only a question I have posed myself on many a dog walk but I know for a FACT kids are going to love this book. This is what kids want to read and so do I. Will be buying in bulk! And no, I won't reveal if dogs actually do prefer to pee in a certain direction, you will need to buy the book.

This is a fun book with lots of scientific information. It has 20 chapters that each have a question to answer, for example, where would you find the most germs?
There are jokes and little facts interdispersed throughout each of these chapters. There are also lots of black and white illustrations on each page.
I can see that this book would appeal to children aged 7+ as it is written in a fun, easy to read way. Children could easily dip into this and choose a chapter to read.
Unfortunately it just didn't appeal to me as so much of it was centered around poo!
