Save Her Child is a gripping, addictive and thoroughly engrossing addition to a superb series; a series that appears to be growing stronger and more riveting with each book. I highly recommend this to those who enjoy police procedurals with plenty of drama, action and wicked twists.

This high octane adventure is all over the place. Three stories that don’t seem to have anything in common come together in the end. So many twist.s and turns and a crazy ending you’ll never see coming. This third book in the Jericho and Wright series is a must read

Thrilling. Tense. Action packed. Addictive. This one gripped me and didn't let go. Loved it so very much. This is one author to watch and a series to be wowed by and evangelistic about. Do read this book and series. I guarantee you will be a fan too.

Another great book in this series.
Leah helps a pregnant woman at the fair as she’s giving birth in a field and begging for help. She goes with her to the hospital but she will only say her name is Beth.
When Leah goes back to speak to her the next day, she is gone. Leah asks Luka for help, but there’s not much he can do.
Luka has his hands full with the death of a man in his car which is made to look like suicide, but later they determine he has been murdered.
Harper is investigating the murder of a woman who had been beaten to death but her path crosses with her father, the Reverend when it seems he’s involved in the other case.
There’s certainly lots happening in this book and Leah, Luka and Harper have to pull together and work as a team.
Nate and Emily are getting on well but a decision Luka needs to make may change their future together at school.
This is a gripping crime thriller which well and truly had me hooked.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Save Her Child by C.J. Lyons is the 3rd in the Jericho & Wright Crime series.

First, let me thank NetGalley, the publisher Bookouture, and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Series Information:  (Warning – May contain spoilers from previous books)
DS Luka Jericho has been in the Violent Crimes Unit in Pennsylvania for over 10 years, and fought to remain on the streets.  He doesn't want a desk job. His team consists of  Ray Acevedo, Scott Kricheck and newcomer Naomi Harper (who has a rather abrasive personality).  He is now caring for his nephew Nate as well as his elderly father.  Dr. Leah Wright is the new  head of the Crisis Intervention Center, working closely with the police.  Her husband recently died, and she is looking after her daughter Emily with the help of her estranged mother Ruby.

My Synopsis:   (No major reveals, but if concerned, skip to My Opinions)
Naomi Harper has just made detective, and her first case is the murder of an 18-year old prostitute named Lily Nolan.

Luka is investigating the death of wealthy 43-year old Spencer Standish.

Leah has both kids at the county fair when she spies a woman who is about to deliver a baby.  Leah delivers the little boy,  but the woman seems terrified someone will steal her child, and refuses to provide anything but a first name.   She and her child disappear from the hospital the next day. Leah is determined to find them.

As the investigations continue,  Naomi, Luka and Leah find themselves needing assistance from the others to work through these cases.

Naomi will have to confront her past.

Meanwhile, both Luka and Leah are navigating the new responsibilities of single parenthood.

My Opinions:
I am enjoying this series, as they are fast and entertaining reads.

The plot was good, and although the foreshadowing easily lead to my early identification of the perpetrators, the story behind everything worked well.  I must admit to being surprised at the identity of Lily's killer.

The characters are good.  I really like both Leah and Luka.  I still do not like Ruby or the kids.  However, now that we know a little more about Naomi's background,  she has definitely grown on me.

Will definitely be reading the next in the series.

I really enjoyed book 3 in the series. It was good hearing the back story of one of the other characters.

The plot had enough twists to keep you guessing til the end. And the last few lines were perfect.

I look forward to reading the next one.

Save Her Child (Jericho and Wright Thrillers Book 3) by CJ Lyons is another not-to-be-missed thrilling mystery for this spring! I have enjoyed the Jericho and Wright series and the addition of Naomi Harper as Luka's partner makes for an interesting story plot. A Ponzi scheme has various individuals fighting for gold, greed, and power. The first chapter starts with a dramatic scene of a young woman, Beth, going into labor with her first child all alone at a cabin.
Detective Luka Jericho is called to the scene of a suicide, but he has questions as his investigation continues and he tries to talk with the widow. Something seems very strange when she calls Reverend Harper as her spiritual advisor, and he is also acting as her lawyer. Why would she feel as if she needs the council of her attorney when her husband left a suicide note, and what information is she withholding?
Rookie Naomi Harper is called to her first homicide, and she recognizes the victim as one of the working girls she had hoped was in a place of safety and living a better life. Later she finds out her father is associated with Luka's homicide case. Naomi has never felt accepted and loved by her strictly religious adoptive family. Racheal and Reverend Harper did not give her any support when she was wrongly expelled from college, so Naomi has made it on her own for the past nine years.
Dr. Leah Wright is enjoying a day at the county fair with her daughter, Emily, and Luka's nephew, Nate when she hears a woman in distress. Leah is shocked to see a woman about to give birth and goes to assist her. Leah delivers a healthy baby boy and prepares them for the arrival of an ambulance. The woman only gives her name as Beth and refuses to answer any questions.
There are different interwoven events that have unexpected links. The main characters are likable, and the story hooked me from the beginning!

Beths baby is coming whether she’s ready or not. She stumbles into the path of Dr Leah Wright who gets her to the hospital and she has a gorgeous little boy. The next day she and the baby have disappeared. Meanwhile Detective Sergeant Luca Jericho has been called to a suicide, but is it. One person seems to be linked to the two cases Reverend Harper, the father of Jericho’s newest recruit Naomi Jericho. Can Jericho solve the mystery with the help of Naomi and Leah. A fast paced exciting read with many twists.
This is the third book in the Jericho and Wright Series.
I haven’t read the first two (YET) but this did not spoil the enjoyment, it was easy to pick up the dynamics of the story.

Received an early copy from Netgalley, review provided voluntarily.

Absolutely could not put this book down. Just when I thought I knew what happened a new twist was added and changed direction. Jericho and Wright, detective and doctor, make an outstanding team when it comes to just about everything. A new addition, Harper, is on Jericho’s team and has caught her first case, a murdered young girl known for working the streets. We begin to learn about her family and their dynamic. While she’s struggling for answers on her case she is needed by Jericho, his case is a questionable suicide. And then Wright has gotten caught up with a pregnant woman and her mysterious identity. Each person has an importance in the other cases and they work well together to assist each other. The cases are intriguing on their own, adding in the personal lives of the characters and you have a thrilling and captivating novel. Sometimes I just need a book that challenges me and gives my brain a puzzle, this series is perfect.

I really enjoy this Jericho and Wright Thriller series. Detective Sergeant Luka Jericho and his newest Gold shield Detective Naomi Harper both have their hands full. Harper is investigating her first murder after receiving the gold shield a few days ago and Luka is busy with a suicide that needs to be determined if it’s really self inflicted. The murder that Harper is working is of a young teen who she knew from previous arrests. Harpers family seems to be mixed up in the death Jericho is working and not helpfully. Dr. Leah Wright is now working with Jericho in her new job as medical director of Good Samaritan Crisis Intervention Center to be able to stay home more. She was a ER doctor working long hours while her husband Ian took care of their 6 year old daughter, but that all changed with the murder of her husband. Now she needs to spend time with Emily, now 7 and having trouble adjusting to her father being gone in a violent way. The action is constant and engrossing, you never get bored and the answers aren’t obvious. I recommend this read and encourage you to read the two previous books also amazing and developing the history. Thank youNetGalley, CJ Lyons and Bookouture for allowing me to read this eARC this is most definitely my honest opinion.

Another gripping read in a great series. There is a lot going on in this one. There are three cases and a large cast of characters. At times its almost too much but worth sticking with it for the dramatic and stunning revelations.
The main characters of this series are complex. I love Luka. Leah is slowly developing and I find myself rooting for her more and more. There are times you want to reach into the pages and shake her though. Harper really stands out in this book. Much of her past is revealed and let's the reader understand her and her behavior much better.
There is a lot of action and suspense. As well as plenty of twists to keep you guessing. I can't wait to see what happens next.

this was a pretty good book, though not my favorite of her books. Having three main characters and three cases diluted the story for me, less might have been more in this case. It was still interesting enough . It can be read as stand alone but it is part of a series, which also explores the personal lives of the main characters as well as the cases

I’d like to thank Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘Save Her Child’, the third in the Jericho & Wright series written by C J Lyons, in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Dr Leah Wright is with her family at the Craven County Fair when she sees a terrified woman in the throes of childbirth and helps deliver her baby. She takes the woman to hospital but when she returns the woman’s taken her baby and disappeared. Meanwhile, Detective Luka Jericho asks for Leah’s help in talking to a distraught widow when her husband is found in a fume-filled garage. They find a confession note written by the man but Luka isn’t convinced and interviews Reverend Matthew Harper, the father of newly-promoted Detective Naomi Harper, in an attempt to learn what he knows.

‘Save Her Child’ is another gripping instalment in the series where we find Detectives Jericho and Harper involved in solving three complex cases one of which Harper’s hoping to lead and validate her place in homicide, and Dr Leah Wright’s daughter Emily is still coming to terms with the loss of her father Ian. The story is well-written with drama, suspense and intrigue and the twists and turns kept me guessing till the end. I enjoyed reading this thriller and look forward to the next one.

What a intense, intriguing read!
So much going on that I had to stop and think about what story I was on. Definitely did not get bored reading this book! And, the ending is climactic!
There is more then one story going on. Each story is unique and draws you in. First there is a young woman about to give birth....why is she so terrified of someone finding her? Then there is a possible suicide or was it murder? And, a young prostitute is beaten to death. Are these stories connected in any way? The author does a great job blending everything going on so the stories flow well and make sense.
This is the third book in the Jericho and Wright series. As with the previous books, Save Her Child is full of family secrets and mystery. I do believe these books can be read as standalone reads.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture and author, CJ Lyons, for the opportunity to read this book for my honest opinion. All opinions expressed are my own.

A pregnant woman is running for her life when her baby decides to arrive, but Dr. Leah Wright is near and able to deliver her baby. Maggie Chen, death investigator, has been called to the scene of a young woman who has been beaten to death. Rookie Detective Naomi Harper is assigned to investigate the woman’s death while her supervisor, Detective Sergeant Luka Jericho, is called to a possible suicide. When the pregnant woman and baby go missing from the hospital, Leah must find them as the baby may have an infection. There are many “twists and turns” to their investigations as Naomi is dealing with her adoptive family who has never approved of her law enforcement career and the suicide has now been classified as a homicide. Naomi’s father is a rigid religious man and seems to know something about the cases, but pleads the seal of confession. I liked the promotion of Naomi’s character from officer to detective as she continues to do what is right regardless of the effect on her personal life. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Save Her Child is another winning thriller in the Jericho and Wright thrillers. The young detective, Naomi Harper, plays a little more of a starring role in this one as she takes on her first case. Naomi uses her street connections to try and solve the death of a young addict. Next up an apparent suicide quickly becomes more twisted as Naomi is forced to cross paths with her father, the Reverend, and she has to hand the case off to Luka. Leah's day out at the local fair with the kids quickly becomes an emergency situation when she is forced to deliver a baby for a young woman who is clearly in fear for her life. Murder, fraud, and missing persons collide in a page turner of a thriller that will keep the reader guessing right up until the end. Jericho and Wright Thrillers are a guaranteed pulse pounding whodunit that will keep this reader coming back for more. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.

This story was filled with twists and turns, a topsy-turvy thriller! It starts with a woman in a room opening the front door and being killed in the process! As you continue into the next chapter, nothing is said about this and I’m wondering “what’s going on?” Dr. Leah Holloway finds a young pregnant woman ready to have her baby in a park (county fair). The young woman’s reluctance to share any personal information, including her name, raises suspicions with Leah. There’s a strange conspiracy going on with many of the characters. Dr. Leah Holloway and Luke Jericho find themselves in a big mess! Jericho’s new partner, Harper, finds herself at odds with her family! She begins to wonder why they are trying to interfere in her case. This is a well written whodunit! CJ Lyons does not disappoint – she rocks! I was totally surprised by the time I was finished! Great, great read! Thank you #NetGalley for providing me with AC of #Save The Child!

What a tangled web CJ weaves. New VCU team member Naomi Harper is investigating when a young woman is found beaten to death in an alley. Luka is dealing with a widow's strange reaction to her husband's murder when Reverend Harper,  a lawyer and Naom's father, shows up to protect the widow. Meanwhile, Leah finds a terrified woman in labour at the fair who then disappears from the hospital with her infant apparently with the Reverend's help.  A clever twisted story that hooks you from the start.
Though this can be read as a stand alone, you will have a better understanding of these great characters by starting at the beginning. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for this ARC.
