As the third book in the series, you already have an idea of what Chad is going to be like. However in this book Chad finally admits he is ready to try and settle down and grow up. He sets his sights on Hannah who has her own secret baggage but will Chad stick around once he knows the truth?
Another good, easy read from Leslie North.

The Rancher's Fake Girlfriend is based on Chad Redford, He is the youngest brother and no one takes him seriously. He has the reputation of being a lady's man, but now that he is trying to take on a serious job in town he has to win their trust.

Overall a good read, I did find it felt like I read this plot before.

Book three in the Rancher’s series has the youngest brother at first help the new employee working for his sister-in-law at her bakery. When Chad Radford sees the local uppity Tripp Hampton giving Hannah Noelle’s new employee a rough time outside, he goes and puts himself in the middle. Never liking Tripp anyway. Tripp who had taken Hannah out a few times has become possessive with her and she does not like him being around her four-year-old daughter as well. He just cannot take no for an answer. Afterward, she thanks Chad and goes inside. Here is when the story begins to take shape. Noelle comes up with the plan of her and Chad fake dating for he needs to change his look because he wants to run for the spot on the cattlemen’s board but no one is taking him seriously.
That evening she and her daughter show up for dinner and later she tells him of the idea. He is not happy with it, but he does come around to the idea. He also begins to like being around Hannah and her daughter. Hannah begins to like him as well and neither wants to tell the other one just how much they like the other one. It is not until Tripp who found dirt from Hannah’s past wanting or hoping that Chad will drop out that the two of them must decide what they are going to do? A good story and I really liked the characters along with a different storyline with fake dating which was nice. Overall a good read. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. "Chad might get a run for his money because Tripp can't stop staring at you. And he is sexy. Like, tall, dark, and naughty-sexy."
.
This book was beautiful. This is the first book I read by this author and I really enjoyed it. It was exactly what I needed to read. I have been feeling like I'm going into a reading slump recently and reading quick contemporary romances help me not getting into one after reading too many fantasies.
I loved Chad's relationship with Hannah's daughter Aria, How he cared for her like she was his daughter.

Chad wanted to run as a board of the cattleman's union but everyone did not take him seriously. Hannah wanted nothing but to get away from Tripp's possessiveness and run away from her past. In order for them to succeed, the two of them agreed to fake their relationship. With Chad to protect her from Tripp and Hannah to help him with his campaign, they both act passionately and almost real into their fake relationship. Will they be able to get what they want without falling for each other? Or will one of them fall in love and ruin the plan?

This story is actually good and I love the characters!! It is easy to read and quite short so if you're in a reading slump this will be the perfect story for you to read. The characters are lovely and perfect. The connection between the male lead, the female lead, and her daughter is amazing! I love a man who's great with kids, don't we all though? It is sexy and attractive when men are good at handling kids and have fun with them. The spiciness of this book is 2.5 out of 5 for me, I love the sneakiness of the main leads but this book doesn't show many details so it's kind of minor friendly which is great too! But I also have questions in mind about the plot but I'll keep it to myself for now because I don't wanna spoil so much. Overall, I still enjoyed the book!

I give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐

Those of us who read romance most likely don't do so for the surprise endings so the fact that it was clear from the beginning how this was going to end it was still an enjoyable read to see how our characters got there. I'm not usually a fan of the "fake relationship leads to real love" stories, but this one was well developed and it helped that Chad was interested in Hannah right from the start, so it's not as though he suddenly fell for her during their fake relationship - it's just that he finally admitted he was ready for a real, meaningful relationship. I also got a chuckle out of the fact that Noelle pretty much set this all in motion (and fully intended for Hannah and Chad to end up like her and Jett). Hannah's past drama was a little forced and was there more to create a problem for the couple so Chad could make his grand romantic gesture. I did have the thought multiple times during this book that for a communications director Hannah was terrible at communicating with Chad about what she was thinking or feeling.

Chad wanted to be the Chairman of Cattlemen's Association but the members thought of his as an irresponsible playboy. Meanwhile, Hannah started over in the new town with her daughter, Aria after her terrible past experience with her ex, John. But the town weirdo, Tripp who was an obsessive prick got obsessed with Hannah. And not in a good way. But after Chad saved her from him one day, Noelle, Chad's sister-in-law and Hanna's boss, suggested that they should fake date. Well, it could solve both of their problems. Everything was going well until Hannah's past caught up with her and feelings got involved. Things got so much complicated that Hannah and Chad's arrangement was off and Hannah was about to leave the town but Chad finally maned up and confessed his feelings.

A nice hot and heavy romance. With the right touch of drama, tension, and sexy scenes. A lovely book to read in a day.

Third in this newest series. Again, this story has it all, drama, mystery, angst, romance and an HEA. The cover again, needs more thought, but this book is a good read. Add to your TBR list, a great beach read.

This book was a palette cleanser for me. Short, fun, and rather low on drama. The vibe of this story was so relaxed, and sweet.

Charming Chad Radford meets cute single mom Hannah, and her adorable daughter, add a little fake arrangement and watch the sparks fly. Pretending to date is no hardship, and the chemistry is just right. I very much enjoyed reading it.

The Rancher's Fake Girlfriend is the third book in Leslie North's series about the Radford family, and the second one that I've read, but these novels are easily read as standalones. This one features Chad Radford (not fond of rhyming names), the youngest Radford brother, and while it was a fairly pleasant read, which started out well, there were a few things about it that prevented me from giving this novel more than a 3-star rating.

Chad, who has a reputation as being quite a ladies' man, wants to become the new chairman of the Cattleman's Association, but his reputation as a man who has a long string of one-night stands is going to be a problem in getting the rest of the members of the association to take him seriously, but what can he do to change his image? His sister-in-law, Noelle, who runs the Magpie Café and Bakery, may have the answer--it's her newest employee, Hannah Smith, who also has a problem. Being new to town, Hannah went on several casual dates with Tripp Hamilton, a bully, who has become increasingly possessive and who is now actively stalking her. Since Noelle has noticed how creative and media-savvy Hannah is in advertising and promoting her bakery, she suggests that her brother-n-law start fake-dating Hannah, which will hopefully put an end to Tripp's stalking behavior, and who, in return, will help polish up Chad's reputation and promote his image as a committed, responsible adult who is well qualified to become the new chairman of the Cattleman's Association. Sounds simple, doesn't it?

What neither Noelle or Chad knows is that Hannah is living under an assumed name and for good reason, and it's a reason she'd like to keep private. Nevertheless, as she begins revising Chad's image on social media, and acting as his girlfriend, she's slowly but surely including herself in the campaign as his girlfriend. Add into the mix Hannah's adorable, 4-year-old daughter, Aria, Chad's charming his way into both their lives, and into Hannah's bed, and you can see where the problem is going to arise from a mile away.

My primary issue with this novel is that it seems I've read this plot many times before--nothing about it seemed new, original or fresh. Additionally, these characters remained rather two-dimensional to me from start to finish, lacking depth and development. For this reader, predictability in a romance novel is expected--you know going in that there will be an HEA ending in your future, but in this novel, that ending it was far too quick, given short-shrift, and also lacking depth, and if ever a novel needed an epilogue that looked ahead into the future of this couple, and adorable little Aria, it was this one.

This novel is not poorly written, the author obviously has skills, but to this reader if felt rather rushed, and rather hollow. The characters seemed to have potential, but it was wasn't fully realized, which was a shame, because this story and its characters could have been given more depth, more complexity, and more drama, which would have set it apart from so many other similar stories in this particular trope.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions expressed are my own.

Lovely fast romance.

I really liked both main characters and the daughter was a total sweetheart. I was really intrigued about Hannah's secret and I liked that it wasn't the obvious answer.

I think we can all agree that Tripp is an asshole and I'd like to see him get what he deserves.

I'm a sucker for an easy read romance and love the fake partner tropes. This was a comfort read I powered through with a bowl of cereal and a coffee. Great fun

I always enjoy a good fake relationship that ends up evolving into so much more. Chad and Hannah are a cute couple. I liked how she was able to turn his image around so neatly.
