This one missed the mark for me, so I had to DNF. I'm a mood reader, so it could have just been the wrong for me to read it, So, I may try picking up again at another time.

Thanks to the publisher for giving me a an early copy of this. I had such a fun time reading it and it has all the scandalous, soapy elements that I was promised. It feels like the perfect memoir for fans of reality tv.

I love saucy behind the scene stories! I loved Saskia's telling about Pavel. Thats when I was super invested in the story. I feel like when her connection with Pavel ended, things got confusing for me.I feel like there was too many names in a short amount of time and I had a hard time following along completely.
Not gonna lie though, I totally wish she could've used real names for some of the american celebrities that she mentioned.

I really enjoyed this memoir by Saskia Swann. If you are thinking the stories of a private flight attendant are over the top and filled with secrets, riches, and sex... well you'd be correct. I don't agree with what the girls did to keep their jobs with a certain boss but that was their choice and they knew what they were getting into. The stories she added of her fellow flight attendants were a nice addition to her story. I always wondered what it would be like to be a flight attendant and how they juggle their personal lives with their jobs and this memoir does a great job explaining what that was like for her.

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

I loved this! I love how raw and honest it was! There was particular bits that Saskia could have chosen not to share - it showed us her vulnerable side!
It just shows how things go on in private jets ect!

Buckle Up….
Buckle up for this memoir of a private flight attendant filled with true tales from the skies, scandal and intrigue. A well written, compelling and rather addictive account which also deals with both sides of the coin and the darker sides of the job.

A memoir about a flight attendant and her experiences on private jets. An insight into the private lives of the rich but the narrative did not appeal and I did not fiinish.

A brilliant memoir by flight attendant Saskia Swann. Such a refreshing read, to read something different which truly enlightened me to what it's really what like to be working as a private flight attendant for the mega rich - with some OMG disturbing surprises! Highly recommended

I have always been curious about the inside lives of flight attendants and this book definitely delivered. I couldn't put it down once I started. Plus, I love the book cover!

I absolutely adored this book and read through Above and Beyond so quickly. Initially I was shocked by how wild the story was, and then even more shocked when I realized I wasn’t reading fiction!

Saskia becomes a private flight attendant for the world’s rich and powerful, and the excess that she describes is astonishing: food, alcohol, women, sex.

I honestly couldn’t believe I was reading a memoir at times with this book, and it was quite interesting to pull the curtains back on this industry. Not to mention, it was fascinating to travel the world through Saskia’s eyes and this lifestyle.

Thank you to NetGalley and Lume Books for the review copy in exchange for my honest review.

Above and Beyond is a really interesting peek at the life of luxury travel. Very easy read, definitely fascinating, but it will definitely leave you with a sense of uneasiness at how easily people will bend for money.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC for an honest review.

I loved this book. It honestly blows my mind how rich people live. The jets sounded bigger than my house. Above & Beyond is a look into the scandalous and exciting lives of the extremely wealthy. It was written well and I felt like I was there with Saskia. Saskia seems like such a likable person and I loved getting a glimpse into her life and her friendship with the team. It’s definitely not a job I could do but I very much enjoyed reading about it. This is a quick easy read that I could not put down. I just wish we got a bit more detail about her jobs post Russian.

I did enjoy this, as other reviewers have said, the author is surprisingly Frank and the whole account seems really candid and eye opening. I would have like to hear more about the subsequent encounters after the main Russian character but these are skimmed over a little bit.

As soon as I saw that Above and Beyond: Secrets of a Private Flight Attendant was a memoir I had to check it out! I will probably never get a chance to fly on a private jet so it was remarkable to read about the true stories of what it's like to work on one! Some of these stories were hard to believe - the privileges of getting whatever you ask for when you're rich. Flying anywhere in the world, wearing expensive clothes, getting elaborate gifts all of this sounds great but believe it or not it had some bad things involved too. Just so interesting to get a peak into how the very rich live their lives!

It's an interesting read, everyone should give it a try.

Thanks to the publisher for the ARC. All the best to the author in her future endeavors.

Above and Beyond is like reading the script for a reality TV show. It's absurd and bonkers in a way that you can't believe it's real but it actually is. This is people's lives and how they live, and it makes for a deliciously fun read.

Being a flight Attendant is a dream of mine so to read this book is just amazing and really an eye-opener. Albeit a flight Attendants journey there's still so much to learn from this book from anyone in any work of life because life happens and we all make crazy mistakes.
I loved loved reading this book, that i might have to purchase it just to re-read it again .Thank you Saskia Swann for this amazing read.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book and the true story of Saskia Swann and her adventures as a flight attendant. I have flown many times in my life but I've never given too much thought to the attendants and what all their work might entail. And in the case of Saskia Swann she was a flight attendant for a very rich man. At first I was really happy for her because she was a poor woman who desperately landed a good paying job when she truly needed it; however, it did come at a price.

Ms. Swann had some really fun and adventurous anecdotes she told in the book and I thoroughly enjoyed "listening" to them. She used allusions to tell about some of her stories, such as Mrs. Doubtfire and Chicago (the play) and I felt those added to the details of her adventures.

I'd like to thank NetGalley and Lume Books for an e-ARC for my honest opinion.
