I really enjoyed this book and it has some wonderful positive messages.

My daughter is only young but she knows her ABCs and we are learning more about thoughts, actions and feelings at the moment and this is a great way to talk to her about them.

The illustrations in the book are lovely too - I really thought it was great as a mum and my daughter has really enjoyed learning and taking part too.

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!

This was a cute and different way to go through the ABCs. I'm really glad there was a page at the end that explained where the virtues came from - I thought that was really helpful. While I did like the virtues, I'm also not sure how interested my kids would be in reading this book in one sitting. The diversity represented in the pictures was nice.

I loved the idea of this book! I wasn’t crazy about the title. The word “virtues” made it feel slightly religious even though it didn’t appear to be at all. I love this type of book where it lists things using the alphabet. It did feel like some of the ideas were compromised in order to make a rhyme. I think the rhymes took over and may have lost some of the meaning of the text.

I like the illustrations and the word choices. This would make a good book to teach children new words and develop their characters.

I enjoyed this book and thought it would be really good use in an Early Years classroom where the children are beginning to learn the alphabet and some new vocabulary. Whilst some of the vocabulary is beyond the younger children the images and rhyming words throughout will be engaging for the children and provide necessary explanations for the more advanced vocabulary. I believe children will really enjoy this book and will gain some important messages about how to behave towards others as a result.

Thank you NetGalley for this ultra cute book. Growth mindset is important in raising children, and this ABC book targets great traits. The children pictured in the book are different colors, but I think a little more diversity in religion, Asian-ness, and physical ability of children could have been shown. I think finding any suitable word starting with the letter X is almost impossible, so settling for a word that ends with the letter X is fine. I think a better word the the letter Y could have been used instead of "yogic," but the author's letter wants the reader to know about "Indian epics," so I see that connection with "mindful meditation." I hope many people benefit from this book.

Cute children's book! My kiddos like books that go through the alphabet so this was a fun. I loved the rhyming that made it especially fun to read!

I found this extremely cute and useful for all children, regardless of age range. It was meaningful, beautiful, and proactive. I really wish I had books like this when I was a child- to help grow my understanding of the outside world and my inner self. The illustrations were also to die for and that's what drew me in right away. The only issue I had was the illustration on page 30 I believe, the page for "I". There's a little white boy dressed as an Indigenous person which I find a little offputting. I would make him an astronaut or cowboy or anything except another person's cultural wear. I think it shows children it's ok to dress up in that manner when it isn't at all. That's the only issue I had. Besides that, I think it really is a beautiful and easy-to-read story.

Firstly, the dedication at the beginning of this book is absolutely heartwarming and beautiful!

I love the illustrations. They have a real old fashioned nostalgic feel. This book is such a great idea, and has some lovely words of advice for children. The only downside for me is the american spellings.
But this is a really lovely book!

This book started out very cute! The flow of a letter with a corresponding word and a two line rhyme was easy to read to my three year old.

The illustrations are beautiful! The artist is very talented. My 8 month old kept trying to touch the pictures because they were vibrant and engaging!

The words and rhymes were a little strange at the end. Letters V, X, and Y were a little tough to explain to my 3 year old daughter. She normally understands books pretty well as we read a lot and daily. We did love the themes of loving all our friends and being good-hearted people!

The cover drew us in! Like I mentioned above, the illustrations are stunning. The cover shows imagination and fun.

Overall, I would be happy adding this book to our bookshelf!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to preview this children’s book. My two little bookworms and I enjoyed reading this one!!
