Found this to be a cutesy, easy-going read all along. It's not really much about the book club itself, mind, and more about the life of Steph, the main character, so keep that in mind when you go in. It's a very easy-going book, I say again for lack of a better word (not boring, not mundane...but somehow flirting with those lines yet not dropping there either, if that makes sense). I liked the romance angle, and it just felt like one of those made-for-TV movies you can just while a moment with, in all the right ways. Reads very easily and quickly, too, if you're a fast reader

A funny, delightful read. A nice break from some of the other heavier books I’ve been reading. Completely relatable ans honestly hilarious in some parts. While fairly lighthearted, the undercurrent of friendship and support of other moms gives it a strong back bone.

I picked this one up as a light, easy holiday read and it has not disappointed at all. I loved Steph and Edward as characters. In fact an Edward in my life would be lovely. I think it gave food for thought and if I was parenting alone, how hard it could be and it was written to be relatable and with humour. I found the journey that Steph, Janey and Amanda were on was inspiring and shows how the power of books and book clubs can be just what you need. This book whilst light and easy did show how a journey can change once you let yourself go for what you want. A brilliant read! Will definitely be reading more from this author.

This has been on my NetGalley shelf for over a year, and I still haven’t picked it up. I've tried, but it just isn't for me (right now). I hope other people enjoy it more than I did.

This is a cute book! Stephanie is a newly divorced, mom of three. Her ex-husband's friend's wives abandoned their friendships so Stephanie is left as a struggling, single, low income, friendless woman. I liked seeing the new friendships she created along with the formation of the book club progress. Her relationship with Edward was sweet. There were only a couple of times that Stephanie kind of annoyed me but it didn't stop me from enjoying the book. I do wish the ladies friendships were explored more. It seemed like it was mainly all based on their romantic relationships or lack thereof. Quick read, I recommend.

Thank you very much to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me an ARC of this book (all opinions are my own).

This was the first book I've read from this author and it was just okay. It was hard for me to get into and the characters didn't keep my attention.

Started with laughter, ended with a swoony contented smile.

Stephanie is a single mother to 3 young children. She is struggling to cope after her husband left her to live the single life. He isn't reliable with picking up the children, and she often has a difficult time on her child free nights.

The first chapter had me literally laughing aloud and crying happy tears. This book was relatable for sure!

I felt bad when Stephanie realized her friends were either her husbands friends or just "coupled up" while she was now single, so left out of things. True to life for sure.

Something happens in a store and her neighbor sort of rescues her from something. And they start talking, and realize they need something more out of life. So they get to know each other a bit better and form a book club. I liked the book club hijinks.

Their little book clubs grows a bit and they actually become friendly.

Stephanie gets a job, and her boss is almost too good to be true.

Edward is swoon worthy. And real. And not the dashing prince sort of man, more of a real man, awkwardness and all.

I enjoyed watching their story bloom and how he interacted with her pet and her children. This couple would be one I would like to be friends with in real life.

Such a joy, fun, cozy and funny romance here. Just a great escape if you are reading it around the holidays even. No it doesn't have a Christmas theme though but the book was So so very enjoyable!

Go get this and read it now you won't be sorry you will be happy!

Thank you NetGalley and the author and publisher for the complimentary e arc for my honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley and HQ Digital for allowing me to review this book.. I think it was well written and I enjoyed the character building and growth.. I think the book tackled every day issues that normal everyday people go through.. I like they took three strangers who became friends and they started a book club to have something that was theirs that they could control and enjoy.. Recommend? Yes if you want something that is a easy read.. ~Happy Reading ~

I received a free digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book had an amazing plot, but I felt the characters were a bit hard to connect to.

Thank you kindly to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this review copy.

This was a really good book about love, loss, and finding yourself again when you can't seem to find the time to relax.

Really wasn't feeling this one. It was well written but just not my cup or tea. Maybe its because I could only appreciate the mum jokes and humour to a certain extent because I'm not a mum myself? Who knows!

The Single Mums Book Club is a well-written novel, populated with interesting characters, about rebuilding a life.

Stephanie's husband has, out of the blue, decided that he wants a new life (no wife and children), and a new relationship. Stephanie has been left with three children, including a baby. She's a stay-at-home mom, trying to make ends meet without enough resources.

Stephanie's in the market with a screaming toddler and not enough cash to make her purchase. Janey, the across the street neighbor she's never met, comes to the rescue with cash, and a friendship is born.

While out walking, Stephanie meets Amanda. Amanda is a lonely, wealthy widow living in the mansion up the hill. Stephanie decides to invite Amanda to join the book club she and Janey have formed.

Although a bit more literary than my usual choices, The Single Mums Book Club is quite engaging. This title will make a great vacation or beach book.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received a free digital copy of this book to review from Net Galley.

Loved the short chapters and fast paced feel of this book! This book was filled with humor and was such a lighthearted read. I loved that this one covered so many difficult topics… trauma, divorce, co-parenting, etc. Edward was definitely my favorite character! I recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, lighthearted read.

A great book for book lovers, and the ideas for a book club of your own are fantastic. I'm in a different stage of life to the mums here but still found so much love and warmth in the pages
