An excellent biography of Dylan, well-written by a man who knew him personally from his early years starting out in New York.
As it is a revision of a book first published in 1987 I wasn't expecting to find it that riveting but in fact I found it difficult to put down once I had started and I'm now playing his old albums again with new interest.
I'd recommend this edition to anyone with more than a passing interest in the man who has probably had a greater influence on rock music than any other musician.
