***Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
I liked that this one had a little bit of action and I loved the relationship between the main characters.

World’s Worst Boyfriend is a reminder not everyone or everything’s as it seems. Saidy is strong, independent which is refreshing to see. She’s not dependent upon Fletcher (said worst boyfriend) for her happiness or to survive. Reading her as a developed character who also cut ties with toxic friends.

This was a charming & funny read! I thought Saidy & Fletcher had great chemistry & enjoyed seeing both perspectives on their relationship. I really enjoyed reading this & will have to find more books from the author to read.

Thank you Net Galley for the ARC! Netgalley provided me with ARC for ‘World's Worst Boyfriend’ in return for an honest review.
Saidy has been dating Fletcher for four months, but he isn't quite boyfriend material. He may actually be the ‘worst boyfriend in the world’ material. He is neglectful, clueless, and works too much on his IT business.
Saidy decides she is sick of him blowing her off and wants to prove that she deserves better by entering him into ‘The Worlds Worst Boyfriend’ contest held by her favorite Podcast. Little does she know that he has plenty of reasons why he is not quite hitting her standards: he is not only an undercover cop but Saidy unknowingly infiltrated herself into the case he is working on. Can he make his way through this case while still saving their relationship?
This is the first Carina Taylor book for me and it didn’t disappoint. I thought she executed the character's chemistry and quick-witted banter perfectly. I was surprised how many times I found myself laughing out loud! However, I did find that the writing fell a little flat for me at times. Although I enjoyed the plot and the personality of the characters, I had a hard time seeing past the writing style. I found there to be quite a few redundant explanations of what the characters were doing or thinking, especially within the first few chapters.
All that to say, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and was itching to get back to it whenever I had to set it down. Surprisingly, I found myself rooting for Fletcher and enjoying his story, even more so than Saidy’s or their love story. I think this plotline could have the potential for a series about Fletcher’s detective work.
I look forward to reading more of Carina’s books in the future.
