The story got right to the point which is good if your looking for a fast read between large novels

Carson and Sienna were cute and had some history to built one since there story starts in prior books.

I enjoyed this for what it was a break between large novels.. The book had everything needed a little suspension, a romance, a hot couple and of course a happy ever after.

This is the third book in the MacArthur family series. Sienna MacArthur is a private investigator. Carson Irish is a detective and is also Sienna's brother, Daniel's, brother in law. When someone breaks into Sienna house and steals her old laptop and camera, Carson is determined to keep her safe. I loved this book. I think this is my favorite of the series. It was very fast paced and I loved the suspense scenes. Carson and Sienna make an adorable couple. I liked how how Carson knows what he wants and goes and gets it. They don't try to change each other which is great. I received this ARC from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

4.25⭐

Saving Sienna was a great read. That was fast-paced, full of sparks, a little mystery and great characters. And I was hooked from start to finish. I just wish it had been longer as I could've read so much more from Sienna and Carson.

Would recommend.

Explosive! Wow! I really enjoyed this story. Katie knows how to write a book that will keep you glued to the pages. The chemistry is off the charts with a little mystery thrown in. For a short story this one really had character development and fabulous dialog. I wanted the story to continue.

3 stars - I liked it

Private Investigator Sienna MacArthur is known for getting the job done. When she becomes the target of an unknown threat she reaches out to the sexy Detective Carson Irish for help. She trusts him to keep her safe, but she is also terrified of letting him get closer.

This was an enjoyable couple. Sienna and Carson were both great characters. I liked how tough and determined Sienna was. She really was a great PI and went out of her way to help her clients. Carson was a protective man but he understood Sienna could take care of herself. He understood her dedication to the job and didn’t stand in the way of it. He was very supportive and just the right man for an independent woman like Sienna.

My only issue really was the reason why Sienna pushed Carson away to begin with. I thought it was a little shallow but everything worked out for them in the end. The suspense of this book was pretty good as well. I enjoyed the chase of finding the bad guy, even if a lot of it was done electronically. Overall, a great book for the MacArthur family’s last sibling.

Carson feel fast for Sienna, he also liked law and order. Was it to soon for Sienna, until trouble came, she now seeks him out. They are polar opposites, with her being a PI with a camera she goes for that edge to get the evidence she needs for her clients One pictures too many and that put her into danger. Good plot, good series to enjoy.

Detective Carson Irish is Kathryn's brother and has had a thing for Sienna MacArthur since his sister/her brother's wedding. He seems to pop up when she gets herself into sticky situations, but when things get bad (her life is in danger) he drops everything to make sure she is safe. Sienna loves her job and it feeds her ADHD, allowing her to stay moving and solving the puzzles that she is hired to solve. Her weakness, however, seems to be Carson, even though she cut things off abruptly when he asked for more.

I really enjoyed watching these two characters fall for one another. They both have dangerous jobs and know that they can't ask each other to quit no matter how much they worry about one another. I love how Brodie and Daniel are always there for their sister and willingly accepts Carson into their family even farther. I hope this is not the end of this series because its so much fun with the suspense and HEAs. Great read! Highly recommended.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review from NetGalley.

The tag line for this book does not lie! "[I]f you’re in the mood for quick, light romantic suspense read" this is definitely a perfect choice. Sienna is a private investigator - her work is fast paced and exciting - and just a little dangerous. She and Carson Irish are connected by the marriage of their siblings and have hooked up more than once. But Carson scare Sienna - and she refuses to pursue more than what they have had in the past. Carson wants it all with Sienna. He's been discouraged and hurt by the walls she is putting up between them. As a police officer, he is no stranger to dangerous situations - and while he wishes Sienna didn't get into those situations - he doesn't try to stop her.

The only thing that didn't work for me - from a suspension of disbelief perspective - was how much focus the break in at Sienna's house got. It happened prior to any of the additional craziness - and TBH - even being the semi-girlfriend of a police officer, the police probably wouldn't have put much effort into it (cynical? maybe).

Overall - I enjoyed the pacing and the relationship between Sienna and Carson. I appreciated that Carson really did not want to change Sienna - he just wanted to support her.

Overall - this book is as advertised!

I received it as an ARC from NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.

Aww, Saving Sienna is a sweet and sexy little surprise of a novella! The third in the McArthur Family series (my first), this story follows Sienna McArthur, P.I., and detective Carson Irish as they work together to figure out who broke into Sienna's home and seems to be after her.

The two met previously--his sister married her brother--and they had a hot and heavy but all-too-brief fling. Carson got too serious too fast for Sienna though, and she bolted.

Carson is a man unapologetically in love with Sienna, and I'm a total sucker for that kind of hero. For her part, Sienna is equally enamored with Carson, but she has apparently been burned by previous boyfriends who couldn't handle her having a sometimes dangerous career. The threat to Sienna provides a second chance for Carson to spend time with her and hopefully break down those walls.

The story starts off fast and proceeds at a tidy clip. Carson and Sienna are both strong and likeable people, and it's easy to root for them. Where the story falls a little short for me is Sienna's backstory. Though we know from her thoughts and some of the dialog that other boyfriends didn't approve of her work, it was never described enough for me to understand why she'd shy away from Carson. Perhaps had this story been a full-length novel, there would have been room to explore her past more thoroughly. Also, a longer story would have enabled the author to build more suspense and drama; the mystery of who was after Sienna and why seemed to wrap up a little too quickly and easily.

My last thought was that the title diminishes Sienna a little. She's strong and capable, and she really can save herself. It's ironic too, especially since her major hang-up is that guys always seem to think she needs saving.

All that aside, I really enjoyed this story and would read more in this series or by this author in a heartbeat

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. Thanks!

Hard working P.I. Sienna happens to bump into Carson while she is finishing up a case. These two have history, not only is Sienna's brother married to Carson's sister but are very attracted to each other. Carson wants to give the relationship a chance but Sienna is relationship shy. Fortunately Sienna finds herself needing Carson badly when she finds herself in danger and they only person she wants to run to is Carson.

Really enjoyed this story, easily can be a stand alone but it works well in the series. Fun and action packed from the start.

This is a cute quick read for a lazy day or weekend. This could be read as a stand alone but it's great with the series too.

Another good addition. Quick read.

Carson and Sienna definitely had chemistry. I was a little unclear as to why Sienna didn't want to be with him, but it was a good story

I love this series with the MacArthur and Irish family! At Kathryn Irish and Daniel MacArthur's wedding, Carson and Sienna met and had a fling but Sienna broke it off when Carson started to want more than a fling.

The story is happens a bit after the wedding when Sienna has to figure out who is trying to kill her and Carson tries to help her figure it out as well as keep her safe.

Lots of non-stop action as they try to stay ahead of the killer and figure out which of her previous clients could be involved with this.

I loved that it had drama and intrigue added to the hot romance and loved their HEA!

First a big thank you to the author and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to review this book.

I liked this one the least of the three in the series. To me if focused more on the romance than on the suspense, but that is not to say it wasn't a good book. It pairs Sienna, a PI and Carson, a detective. Sienna needs Carson's help and he'll do anything for her since he's smitten with her since they met a while ago during a wedding.

The romance was good, I loved that Carson gave Sienna the time to set the pace of their relationship.

Another great story in the MacArthur family series! I've been anxiously awaiting Sienna's story, and like the two books before this one, I was pulled right into the story and stayed engaged throughout. I love novellas when done so well that I'm still able to connect with the characters and become invested in their story, and this one definitely meets the criteria. I highly recommend this author and this series.

I received an advance reader copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

A big thank you to NetGalley and KR Press, LLC for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series but they all read well as stand alones. This is Sienna and Carson's story. I really liked that Sienna was the hesitant one, not wanting to mess up family dynamics. They are wonderful characters, charming and full of vigor. This story has it all, romance, mystery, suspense. Truly an enjoyable read. 4 stars

This book takes by the book Detective Carson Irish and pairs him with PI Sienna MacArthur who does what she needs to get the job done and puts them in a place where they need to rely on each other. These two have been secondary characters but the chemistry has always been there. Their chemistry has never been in question now they get the chance to prove or disprove compatibility outside of the bedroom. I loved Carson. He may be alpha but he knows how to bend.

This is my favourite of the three. While I enjoyed the previous two Carson made this book for me. I do love a good rugged tattooed man who loves a woman and isn’t afraid to make his interest known.

I also really liked Sienna. She’s smart, tough with not a hint of stupid in sight. This is an often under appreciated quality. I’m quite a picky reader and I’ve managed for quite a while to avoid books featuring a female so stupid it’s a wonder she can dress herself. My run came to an end earlier this week so trust me when I say I really appreciated Sienna.

Anyway I digress.

This novella was an entertaining little read. Romance bubbled throughout with a mystery/ crime story to keep it interesting.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided NetGalley.

My favorite thing about Saving Sienna is that the hero, Carson, was completely smitten with Sienna. I’m a big fan of guy-chase-girl stories. Sienna does do a bit of resisting but I felt like it was a lot and we got some great, quality couple time with these two. I’m enjoying this series of novellas. They are great, feel good romances.

This time it's Sienna's turn to find her HEA. She is a private investigator which brings some level of danger with it. But when a masked man breaks into her home she will need the help of detective Carson Irish, who she had a few passionate nights with. Forced to spend time together they will have to confront their feelings for each other. And survive, of course.
My favorite one in this series. There was way more suspense than in previous books, with chases and break-ins and assassination attempts. Carson is definitely my favorite guy out of all three books. So calm and sure of what he wants. And the epiloge was really sweet. If you want to read good and quick romances I recommend this series.
Thank you to Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
