I received an advanced reader's copy of Wrath of the Tooth Fairy (Fairy Godmother Mysteries, Book 1) by Sarina Dorie from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was the first book by Sarina Dorie that I had read and I was pleasantly surprised to find an enjoyable new author to follow.

Overall, I felt this was a solid fantasy/romance novel and I found it to be extremely well written. The plot was engaging and not like any other book I’ve read lately.

I liked the world-building the author did and how well fleshed out the characters were (they had layers, people!). They each had their own unique personality and motivations, and it worked together well. I especially liked the dynamic between former fairy godmother turned tooth fairy, Mira, and her eventual love interest, Aden.

This novel had everything - an interesting plot, characters you like and connect with, characters you don’t like and want to see brought down, magic, action, drama, angst, and more!

All in all, Wrath of the Tooth Fairy by Sarina Dorie was a really fun read and I would recommend it for any fantasy/romance fan.

I really liked the premise of this book and the ideas for the plot were original and fun. I couldn't really get into the way it was written, however, despite really really wanting to like it. I felt like the writing was pretty simplistic and the characters rather flat. I think the author has great ideas and will look forward to seeing more from them in the future.
