I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

I was not privileged to have read the first edition of the book, but i am so glad I read this story. There was a romance element with ties to the history between the two main characters that made the story that much better. There were all kinds of surprises that I was not expecting. This was such a good story, and I can't wait to read what's next from this author.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The main character and her interaction with her step brother kept me wanting to read more. There was a lot of character development that made it interesting and easy to follow. I will certainly be on the look out for any other books from this author. I'm so glad that I got a chance to read this through #netgalley #arc

Liza returns home after a tragic accident leaves her jobless and penniless. The storyline of her character being attracted to her long lost stepbrother kinda creeped me out, no matter how you want to write it. Sans that narrative I may have enjoyed it.
