This is a fascinating coffee table book filled to the brim with art and writings about motorcycles of all ages, in numerous locations across the globe. The photography and one chapter are by Henry Von Wartenberg with four additional chapters by authors proficient in the art and handling of the motorbike.
With well described trips in some of the farthest locations one could find themselves on foot, much less on two wheels, you can’t help but feel the thrill, the beauty, and hear the sounds of the surroundings. Henry pays homage to many disciplines across the globe that must use the motorcycle to accomplish their tasks due to space, funding or infrastructure of their habitat. Accompanied by beautiful photography filling page after page, this would be a thoughtful gift to anyone even remotely interested in the hobby of riding on two wheels.
Sincere thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group- Motorbooks for an ARC in exchange for my honest review. The publishing date was April 27, 2021.
