Olivia is looking for some quiet time on the beach and with the beach house she rented. She was not expecting the house next door to have firefighters renting it. she also was not thinking about seeing Brody again but yet here he is. A good read with good characters.

This was a good, quick, clean romance read. It flowed well, close proximity allowing the main characters, Olivia and Brody, to fall for each other. Although a bit predictable, it was a decent read.

The Sisterhood Promise by Susan Hatler.
Olivia doesn’t want the neighboring beach house full of handsome firefighters and their charming leader Brody to get in the way of her women’s retreat, but her heart might have other plans.
Brilliant read. Moving and emotional. 5*.

I have read loads of Susan Hatlers books now and they do not disappoint. This was another lovely read, I like all the characters in Blue Moon Bay and love them all – can’t recommend these books more for a light, easy romantic read.

I’ve been moonstruck lately. Books I’ve been reading are set in locations with moon in them~Blue Moon Bay, Half Moon Bay and so on. I was mooning over luscious Brody in The Sisterhood Promise. I almost melted into a puddle he is so yummy. And a firefighter. I’ll move to a moon community to find a Brody. The novel was a good read. I like this series. Janine does get on my nerves woth how high strung she is and her freaking out over every Little, thing. There’s lots of good beach scenes. I love the cover.

In true Susan Hatler fashion for me reading her books, I did not want to put this one down until I was done once again. I always get drawn into these books and can't put them down until I am done. I fell in love with these characters and felt like I was on the retreat with them all as well.

Olivia is wanting to branch out and become an event planner and run her own business. After a bad break-up, Olivia reads the book, "Men: Who Needs Them?" and comes up with the idea to have a getaway for women that are going through the same sort of break-up and have read the book as well. Olivia talks the author, Greta, into hosting the getaway and thinks that this will be her big break if all goes well.

When there ends up being a house full of firefighters next door at the beach, things are not starting out as Olivia had planned. Olivia quickly has to improvise and make the house full of men work to her benefit. No one expected all of the twists and turns that happens while they are away on the getaway though, not even Olivia and Greta. You can never predict how things are going to go.

This was a great read that lets you escape with these ladies to the beach. I loved the little bit of romance that was thrown in and all of the twists and turns that you don't see coming. Great read!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and all opinions are my own. Thank to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy of this book.

I always enjoy reading Ms Keims books! Olivias struggle with the new beginning of getting herself grounded in a new business and her desire of wanting it to succeed describes the struggle of independence that many women search for. It is a perfect beach read and I definitely recommend this book!

The Sisterhood Promise by Susan Hatler.

A heartwarming story about Olivia who’s boyfriend cheated on her then left her for his ex. He has left her with very little self confidence. Having read a bestselling self help book she decides to set up her own events planning business after years of thinking about it. Her first event is a woman’s retreat by the author of the bestselling book that gave her the confidence. It’s about the journey of the ladies involved . The trials , humour tears and the unexpected along the way especially what they all learn about themselves .

A very enjoyable quick read.

I'm really enjoying this series. Susan Hatler writes such warm books, good friendships and dreamy romances. This is the second book in the series, and I would advise reading them in order. Olivia is trying to start an event planning business in Blue Moon Bay. Olivia has been hired by Greta Von Strand to organise a two week luxury retreat for readers of Greta's book. Men: Who needs them. Olivia has hired a mansion with its own private beach. Greta has strict instructions for no men at the retreat. Greta is incandescent with rage when she sees a group of men on the private beach. She demands that Olivia makes them leave. Unfortunately they are staying at the house next door. This makes for even more stress for Olivia , as she must keep then men away from the ladies. The leader of the group of men is Brody a good looking guy she met at a local bar before the retreat. As one crisis after another looms Olivia must make the retreat a success and fight her growing attraction to Brody. Once bitten twice as shy Olivia has some issues to work out before she gets her happy ending. She has some serious trust issues, which aren't helped by an ex girlfriend hanging around. Brody was such a nice guy, I was practically shouting at Olivia to give him a chance.
Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

This was a cute story! It was a very quick read and I enjoyed it a lot! Olivia, the main character, was a hard worker and stuck in a small town. Watching her do her very best to be successful was heartwarming! The Sisterhood Promise was a wonderful story with fun characters. Even the character that was supposed to be annoying, was adorable! It was a quaint little love story as well. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I kindly received an eARC advance copy of this book to read and review though NetGalley.

Olivia is in her twenties and still working at the fish counter in the local market, the same job she’s had since school.

But she really wants to get her own events company off the ground and finds a way to get a famous author of a self help book to hire her to plan and arrange a two week retreat for woman looking to find independence.

Only problem is the houseful of handsome firemen next door hijacking the plans for a woman’s only event. And one of them is Brody, who Olivia has just met and quite fancies.

This is a light read but has a lot of repetition and light on storyline too. It’s a 3-star read for me.

The Sisterhood Promise
by Susan Hatler

Three Stars
This is a cute, fast, and easy read. A clean romance that doesn’t disappoint.

Olivia needs to prove herself as the new owner of an event planning business, and when she gets a chance to put on a women’s retreat for one of her favorite authors, she believes her business has a chance to grow. Her women’s empowerment retreat is threatened by a houseful of handsome firefighters living next door. How can she teach the women to live without men when so much temptation is living right next door.

Nice story, albeit a bit predictable. The characters are cute, the writing flows nicely and the pacing is good. No long dead spots in the actions.

The Sisterhood Promise by Susan Hatler is an enjoyable story. It has characters that are likable with normal doubts and lack of confidence at times. Olivia has to give herself plenty of pep talks while completely buying into Greta’s premise in her bestseller book, “Men: Who Needs Them?” Planning a retreat based on this idea suddenly has men everywhere. Part soul searching, part sass, part romance, and part friendship makes for a wholly fun read.

I will say that I was surprised to see this as a rename for Perfect Kiss. As I started reading it, it seemed familiar. When I went to check it had the same beginning as the former book I purchased that was published maybe three or four years ago. I did not see that fact of being formerly published in any of the descriptions given for the book. Perhaps I missed it. Also I cannot say if this has any revisions or simply a new name since it has been several years since I read Perfect Kiss..

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I received the book from Hatco Publishing through NetGalley for an honest review. Olivia wanted to start her own event planning business, so she teamed up with a famous author to do a two-week women's retreat. This would help launch her own business if it worked out.
Sometimes our plans and the plan's life has for us is two different things.
Olivia met Brody who was a bartender and the attraction was instant, and you could feel the chemistry come off the pages. But, Olivia's women's retreat was being independent and swearing off men. Yes, it was like, life took that as a challenge because Brody was also a firefighter, and they had lost one of their own. The firefighters were staying next door for two weeks in Brody's uncle's mansion.
Twp weeks of being on the beach, what could possibly go wrong or right? As you enjoy this easy to read story you will enjoy finding out.

Thank you NetGalley, Susan Hatler and Hatco Publishing for the digital copy of The Sisterhood Promise. This is my personal review.
I was so glad that I read this book. Olivia and Brody were meant to be together from the very first time they met. But life has ways of getting in the way for them.
Olivia wants to have her own even planning business. Brody is a firefighter. The combination of how they met and then the slow growth of their relationship is so beautifully written. The chemistry is perfect between them.
The characters in the story just add to the book being pure joy to read.
