The chapter sample was a fun read. I am intrigued to read more

Paige Toon is one of my favourite authors her books are always a good time with loveable characters.

This is an emotional, heartwarming and heartbreaking women's fiction book, which I enjoyed reading.

The story is about Leah and her family, who fostered children throughout her childhood. We are shown her daily life with a lot of these children in it, and how it affects her. We are also shown her as she is later in her life, when some of these children are grown up, and she becomes close to them. We are then given a glimpse of her as she raises her own children.

This is a lovely book with a beautiful story, that will leave you feeling emotional and with a tear in your eye. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

Honestly the beginning chapters of this book just draw you in. When I finally got my hands on the whole book, I just couldn’t put it down. It was an utterly beautiful story. Breathtaking at times!

Oh gosh, is there anything worse than a sampler?! I have read this as part of an arc, and oh my does it leave you wanting more. I absolutely cannot wait to read this in full. Paige Toon, in my opinion, has never written anything bad.
If you like authors such as Lindsey Kelk, Sophie Kinsella etc then give this a go - you will not be disappointed!

As normal Paige Toon sucks you into her story and you are instantly addicted. I can't wait to read the rest of the book and I really hope it is a happy ending! I am looking forward to following the characters on their journey

Thank you so much to Simon and Schuster and Netgalley for the preview of Paige's new book! it was a preview of the first 48 pages, and oh my I'm so hooked! I have the book on pre order and I just can't wait!
Lucy In The Sky and Pictures of Lily are two of my all time favourite books, and this book has a real feel of Lily about it, no spoilers but so far there is an intriguing web being weaved between the characters, it alternates between past and present and there are a couple of shockers already!
Paige is one of my absolute all time favourite writers, she has a way of writing characters that you feel so much for and invest so much in, I really cant wait until June to read the rest!
*UPDATE* Ive now purchased and read, so here is my review after reading it all!
Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, emotional and just wonderful! Paige is one of my favourite authors, Lucy In The Sky and Pictures of Lily are two of my all time most loved (and read) books, this one is right up there with them.
I adored Leah and her incredible parents, the alpacas and the beautiful farm setting, and her teenage friendships with George, Theo and Foster siblings. The story is original and beautiful, and I had tears in my eyes at times (this happens with Paige's writing, Ive read Lucy and Lily so many times but still have tears at the same points in each book) and I absolutely loved the epilogue at the end, I read it twice!

I am a HUGE Paige Toon fan. There is nothing that Paige has written that I don’t love. When she has a new book, my diary gets cleared and I don’t want to do anything but devour the book.
Why then do I insist on requesting a sampler of only a few chapters to her next book Someone I Used to Know?!?! Why do I do this to myself? A few chapters isn’t going to give me a big enough fix, I need the rest of the book.....reading a few chapters has made me impatient for the rest and I have until 24th June to wait!

THank you to the publisher, NetGalley and Paige Toon for gifting me an ARC of a few chapters and leaving me thirsty for more!

I think this is a promising start of her new novel. I have read almost every one of her earlier ones.

I was so excited to receive the ARC for Pagie Toon's new YA novel, but it only 3 chapters! What a teaser! There is not one spoiler in the first 48 pages of this book but I am already feeling a bit of intrigue between the characters. I cannot wait to find out more about Leah, Theo & George and what really happened 15 years ago (aren't they lovely names too?)

Thank you Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for this preview, I look forward to the full release :)

Shocking news brings Leah back to Yorkshire, baby daughter in tow, But Emilie's father Theo isn't with them, and George, Leah's foster brother, has returned. After half a lifetime, have they healed the scars of their pasts? Will coming back home set their hearts in a different direction?

Absolutely amazing already, I've already been on a journey just from the first few chapters! I can't wait to read the rest of the book

Thanks to NetGalley and publishers for a copy of these chapter samplers in return for a review
