I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

An OK read but I was a bit put off with the start. It was a bit too wham bam for me and not enough build up between the 2 characters

Brilliant Zoe has not had any luck with the male species , so she has resigned herself to lonely times ahead. When she meets Mac "the mechanic" during one of her lectures, something ignites between them and burns brightly for a time. But like all things bright, the shine gets lost in the insecurities and doubts that encroach on the relationship. The story volleys between the emotions of both main characters' emotions, Zoe's self-confidence amid her timidity and Mac's bravery in the face of his feelings of inadequacy. Together they explore their feelings and the influences of their past as they attempt to create a life that can withstand any assaults and adversities. Thank you Netgalley for this ARC.

An emotional story between two characters who have invisible scars, but manage to find each other.

Zoe and Mac both have insecurities based on their pasts and it’s heartwarming to see them grow together as a couple. They’re funny, real and their awkwardness is endearing. Unfortunately, you can’t have a relationship if you hold back important parts of your past. That’s when a strong support system of friends helps. The secondary characters were a great complement to the main characters.

This was an enjoyable read with likable characters and an easy writing style. The alternating first person was confusing at times as I had to go back and see who “I “ was in the chapter, I cannot wait to read Phoebe and Trista’s stories.

I read this as part of the boxset that was also sent to me. It was a great story and probably my favourite in the boxset. I liked that both the main characters had issues and barriers and their characters came alive in the novel. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this great story.

Really enjoyed this heartwarming, sweet romance. Zoe is a young genius who graduated from Harvard with a PhD in Chemical Physics who has trouble connecting with males due to them overlooking her due to her being smarter then them. She meets Mac who at first thinks she is a graduate student teaching class and asks her to coffee. He realizes later that she is the professor and decides at first not to pursue her but later changes his mind after Zoe shows up at his apartment. Zoe is a happy, sassy and self confident individual and is thrill when he wants to continue the relationship. It was a great book and it was nice to see that it was the guy who struggled with self esteem issues and not the girl. Love this author.

Received this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

Another love story that I liked a lot.

Zoe is a likable character, smart, but like seriously smart, a genius, which at 25 complicates the dating game, so when Mac enters her class (she is THE teacher) he quickly call her eye.

Mac and Zoe get to know each other and with help of her friends they develop something more than a friendship but one of them keep their walls up despise their feelings.

I liked the story, is quick and an easy read.

What a great story. I liked that both the main characters didn’t automatically solve their problems when they met their soul mate. These two complicated people leapt off the pages and I loved it. I cannot wait to read more about the characters we meet in this book.
