This is the way thrillers should be written.
All Her Fault is one or the first thrillers I’ve read in a long time which has been in no way predictable or over the top and unrealistic. For me, the book struck the perfect balance between engaging plot twists and being a believable story.
Although some people might find it a slow burner, the beginning sets the scene really well and also begins to sow the seeds in your own mind. You start piecing together the potential clues and trying to solve the mystery.
The ending was satisfying and made sense. I really liked how each character was rounded off and felt that all of the loose ends were tied up.
The characters are likeable and relatable, particularly the small town setting where everyone knows each other and the bitchy primary school gaggle of mums, I thought this was well written.
One thing I would’ve liked is to hear from the kidnapper’s perspective during the kidnap, but other than this I think all of the details and questions I had were covered. I have to say this is one of the best thrillers I’ve ever read.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book to review.
