The disappearance of a child is the epicenter of this story, with multiple suspects and lines of investigation. An excellent procedural!

I absolutely loved this book. Every mother's nightmare. Marissa went to pick up her child only to discover she had been duped and Milo had been snatched in an elaborate kidnapping plot. Things unfold and secrets from the past surface. More people are involved than was first thought.. Who can she trust? You will never predict the outcome and just when I had lost patience with some of her decisions she makes the right decision. You will absolutely love this book.

Twisty like a tornado. Excellent read of 2021.
Marissa Irvine arrives at 14 Tudor Grove, expecting to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school. But the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognises. She isn't the nanny. She doesn't have Milo. And so begins every parent's worst nightmare.Four guilty women.
As news of the disappearance filters through the quiet Dublin suburb and an unexpected suspect is named, whispers start to spread about the women most closely connected to the shocking event. Because only one of them may have taken Milo - but they could all be blamed.
It's characters were really awesome, I can't describe in words. It's narration and plot were unique. Overall it's a must read.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bantam Press for giving me an advanced copy.
