I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

This one wasn’t for me sadly, just couldn’t connect with the story or the characters and romance. I am sure others will enjoy this I just felt it wasn’t for me

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

Not my favorite adult romance. I did find I read it fast but I wasn't in love with these characters and the romance. It felt like something I read before. I can picture others enjoying it though since its easy to get into and the concept itself wasn't poorly executed.

Forced proximity + sister’s best friend tropes come together in a sweet story. The writing and word choice are a bit clunky, but the character development and plot are well done. It’s a little annoying to get all the random side stories for all the other characters in the universe/series.

2.5 stars rounded for GR

I received a complimentary copy of Harmony in exchange for an honest review. This was a great setup with Michael climbing into bed to find his sister's friend, Lauren in the bed, Great story with lots of good dialog and chemistry. The romance part was way too slow, but still a great read.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the author, read the other books in the series before reading this one.

I did not take that advice and I definitely was more confused about all the characters and their relationships. However, I still enjoyed this book. The author does an amazing job of building up intense sexual tension and strong emotional connections.

I wasn't sure I was going to like Harmony, but I was wrong I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beginning of the book was a little slow to start, but once I got into the book I could not put it down. Michael and Lauren have a lot of pain in their past, and are still working to get through it when they meet. Michael could not be more of a good man, he is caring, thoughtful, and emotional. Lauren is good at making people laugh and connecting to Michael and making him feel better about things, whereas he has always put himself down before. Harmony was my first book my Kyra Fox and I'm glad I gave it a chance, and am now looking for the rest of this series.

Although I was intrigued by this one it turns out it was just not for me. The genre and raciness of the content was beyond what I'm looking for in a novel. Although this may be just the right read for a different reader, it was in the end not the one of me.

Fun, sexy and lighthearted.

After tragedy visited Michael’s life eight years ago, he went on a downward spiral that nearly cost him everything. When he bounced back, he fortified his heart against such pain while believing he wasn’t worthy of another chance a love.

But the now very successful music producer has to cohabitate with his gorgeous sister’s best fried for weeks is not only testing his restraint regarding his attraction towards her but also proving that his heart is more than capable of love.

This is my first Kyra Fox book and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I’m thinking of starting her BFF series, not only because I enjoyed her writing style but because I will confess that I did feel a bit overwhelmed with so many characters that were intertwined with Lauren and Michael’s past.

Once I got the hang of who was who though, I loved the fun and easy banter between Michael and Lauren. I especially liked the nicknames they gave each other. The chemistry between them was sizzling hot and the sexy times had me fanning myself. I loved how sweet, caring and naughty Michael way and loved all the family support that came along with him.

Harmony is a standalone contemporary romance by Kyra Fox. Told from both POVs with a happy ending.

I really liked the premise of this book at the beginning. Kyra Fox is a new-to-me author, so I think I would have understood the characters mentioned throughout the story a little more if I’d read her previous works. But without having read anything previous to this book, their mentions felt forced at times. Overall, I found both characters likable and enjoyed their chemistry.

A really great romance. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were well written and the dialogue was witty and enjoyable.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read a preview copy of this book.

I really enjoyed reading this book, even if it was a little predictable at times. The only disappointing thing was that there wasn’t an epilogue! I would have loved to know what happened next!

It was a cute story. A little predictable at time but an overall good read with 2 likeable characters.

Quick summary of my review:
Overall the romance is cute, I especially liked it near the end. Throughout the story, they both had each others' back in whatever they wanted to do in life. The story is written from the POV of Michael as well as Lauren, which makes it interesting to read. I especially liked Michael as a character, his backstory was interesting and I wanted to know even more about it. Both of the main characters had a troubled past, but I felt like Lauren's past could've been explained a bit more; I really wanted to know more about her parents and past life.

Even though the story started off quite good, I didn't like the middle part as much. There were some very long sentences in the story, which made it hard to read sometimes. I really didn't like the nicknames Lauren used - meaning Cupcake and Mikey - they seemed childish to me and made me laugh at times when I shouldn't have.

Although there were some things that bothered me, I really started to like the story when I was about 60% in. The preview of the Zoe and Mac story sounded really good, so I can't wait to read that one!

Harmony is a good book, if you like a steamy romance. The characters and the story itself was interesting, and I liked it, but I don't like steamy romances. I did, however, enjoy reading about how each character dealt with their past problem situations, which influenced their current decisions. Lauren is trying to start a designer business, and Michael has a record label he runs with his twin brother. Lauren and Michael get to know each other by sharing his apartment. They have a definite attraction to each other that grows over time. Nice story, but I won't be reading it again.

When Michael (Mickey/Cupcake) arrives in LA for business, he finds a surprise at his house.. A naked, stranger in his bed. Lauren (/Lore/Rockstar) tries to get her life together, personally and professionally after her ex leaves her ruined..

Michael is still destroyed after a big loss, but after being "forced" to live with Lauren for a few weeks, they manage to heal each other. Being scared after being to close, he flees, but life has other plans...

Harmony is the beautiful story of two people that life brings them together and finding the happiness they needed and deserved.

PS: I loved Trista. She's a bit scary and reminds me of my sister...

I received an ARC, these are my honest opinions..

Harmony by Kyra Fox

Two people who find instant attraction when neither are looking for it or expecting it.

A well written fast moving book with a lot of humour and quirky, strong willed characters. They keep you engrossed til the end with a few steamy bits thrown in for good measure.

A fun enjoyable read.

Thanks to Netgalley for the digital ARC for my honest review!

The sexual tension between the two main characters is just so high! I loved it!
It's the type of book that can just suck you in right from the beginning. Michael and Lauren's interactions are just witty and fun. Their nicknames for each other are really cute. It's a steamy book but at the same time sooo cute as well!

You wouldn't want to miss this one for the summer to come!

- Book Review -
Book: Harmony (Kyra Fox)
Rating: 3.5⭐️
Genre: Contemporary romance
Smut: 🔥🔥🔥

Summary: Things haven’t gone well in Lauren’s life but it’s all about to change as her best friend’s brother return to his flat - in which she’s been crashing. Promising to be the arm candy for the rich and very handsome man, she gets the opportunity of a lifetime to showcase her clothing line, and the sudden chance to change her life altogether.

Favourite character: Lauren

To whom:
To fans of contemporary romance - with smut.

Additional notes:
This book was the whole Cinderella-styled rollercoaster ride with sprinkles and then some. Things have gone south but then the knight in shining armour rides in - hot and rich - and all turns for the better. All in all a good read just a bit too much syrup on this pancake for me.

⚠️Teens, this book isn’t for you.
⚠️And if/when you read this regardless: Be responsible. Don’t be Lauren and Michael.

✨Thank you so much BooksGoSocial, Kyra Fox and NetGalley for sending me this book to read and review!

HARMONY is a slow-paced, lighthearted romance book following Lauren and her best friend's brother, Michael when they accidentally end up in the same bed naked. Both are closed off from love and not willing to take the risk until they spend more time together and realize their feelings for each other are more than a sexual attraction.

It is highly recommended that you read the BFF Series prior to reading this because it will give more information about the characters. (I didn't.) If you're looking for a romance book with elements of living in the same space, best friend's sibling, celebrity events and careers, a surprise pregnancy, and somewhat slow-burn with elements of both partners trying to work through it, then HARMONY is for you.

I enjoyed this story. I felt the slow-pace worked well with what the characters were trying to do and enjoying seeing the effort to make a living situation and eventually relationship work from the both of them.
