Understanding Human Nature A User's Guide To Life by Richard Brook was a little different than I was expecting. I was expecting more psychology, but it was more an in-depth guide to yourself, from the inside out. i.e.: How to connect with your soul and how to understand your internal dialog better.

While there was some solid information in this book, the whole left me wanting. I felt like it focused to much on what they describe as the 'soul' or what others might refer to as a conscious. It was uniquely written in a way that given a chance, anyone could find something that could help them. But the title makes you believe it is about understanding people as a whole better.

I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.
