Cheeks Say It All is an inspiring story of a very dependent wife who really steps forward when she is abandoned. Hay and Rexon have been happily married for 15 years. They live in Berlin with their four daughters. Rexon suddenly tells Hay that he going to New York alone for a job.

Upon his departure, they do not hear anything from him, He does no respond to calls. Hay has been a very dependent person but she suddenly reinvents herself and obtains a job and and becomes very independent. It is inspiring to see her take control of her life, I recommend this book.

Hay has been married to Rexon for fifteen years and they have four beautiful daughters in Berlin. They live in a nicer neighborhood and Hay believes that they are happy.

Rexon and Hay had a whirlwind romance followed by Rexon proposing after a year.

Rexon returns home unexpectedly to inform Hay that he's been fired, and for the next two months all Rexon does is lay in bed. His daughters are his sole form of happiness. Just as unexpectedly that Rexon returned home two months earlier, Hay returns home to find Rexon freshly dressed announcing that he's off to New York. Rexon states that he will send for her and the girls once he's able to afford it.

Rexon not only doesn't send for them but has dropped all communication. Hay is running out of money. She's never worked before and has no skills but manages to get a job.

After Hay gets a surprise piece of mail, where it would benefit her and the girls. Hay runs into one bad turn after another, and slowly she gains courage and after listening to women struggling Hay knows exactly what to do to help herself and help others.

I was able to put myself into Hay's shoes and cheer her on as she grew in knowledge and courage. Once where she felt she had to rely on a husband, who left her, she discovered that she had what it took to succeed on her own. The ending was perfect!

This is an amazingly interesting short showing how a woman "picks herself back up" after her husband lies and abandons her and their four daughters. The story is excellently written but the main character could have been "fleshed out" a little more.

I received an ebook ARC from Netgalley and this is my voluntary, honest review.
