This was really a thrilling, captivating read, where nothing was what you expected. I really enjoyed this one, and will read the back catalogue of the author soon.

This is my first book by C D Steele and I quite enjoyed it. I enjoyed the style of writing and thought the characters were well written and well developed . The story gripped me throughout.
I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.

I hate to do an insipid review for a new writer but the telling of this tale can across a bit too cumbersome. The plot is fine & the characters are ok but at times the language felt like the author was using a thesaurus to avoid repetition. Conversations didn’t flow and you wouldn’t hear @nyone actually speaking in the way it was in some parts of the book
