Thank you Dani Atkins, Netgalley and Head of Zeus for allowing me the honor of reading The Wedding Dress. Dani Atkins, I think you’re a remarkably talented author-one of my favorites! That being said I just couldn’t get into this one. It felt like it dragged on and I just didn’t particularly enjoy it. I didn’t like the characters or connect with them and felt frustrated by them throughout most of the book. I feel guilty writing a negative review so please know that I’m very sorry I am not able to offer more praise. I do not share negative reviews because I respect authors and publishers too much to poorly influence other readers. Instead of sharing this review I will post and share reviews about how talented you are as an author because that is an absolute and genuine truth!

This is quite a unique novel with 3 completely individual stories interlinked by a remarkable wedding dress. A dress that holds many stories.

From the cover of the book you could be mistaken for a frothy chicklit read but I found two of the stories were a little dark and sinister in aspects with emotional and physical traumas and struggles. However, these stories were needed to be woven into the seams of the dress to make it even more remarkable.

I enjoyed each story but I think my favourite was the last one, it just held a little more magic and feeling for me.

I would have loved an epilogue to see how the characters from each story are getting on but maybe the author has left this up to the imagination of the reader to envisage their own epilogue.

Completely unique and an enjoyable collection of stories.

I have read all of Dani Atkins books and this was very different to her usual and not quite what I was expecting. The three separate stories had just enough to draw them together. A really lovely read. Thank you.

Another great Dani Atkins book - I have read and really enjoyed others by her and wasn't disappointed by this one either. In essence, this is three separate stories, linked together by one beautiful designer wedding dress. Each of the stories were quite different from each other with different characters, although there was a thread of connectivity through them all. The main repeating character is the very scary bridal shop owner, who it turns out actually has a heart of gold!

A wonderful, heart warming and moving book which you will love. In my opinion, it has the perfect ending and I fully recommend this book.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review, which is what I have given.

Another beautifully written book from Dani Atkins. It was different to her usual style in that there was three different stories to read but it worked really well. A rollercoaster of emotions. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

The Wedding Dress by Dani Atkins is the story of a beautiful wedding dress, that has an extraordinary life for 3 different brides whose lives have changed in the most unusual ways.

We start with our journey with Suzanne, who finds the dress that makes her feel wonderful at Fleurs Wedding Gowns, and she is planning her wedding to the man she loves, but with an anti-men mother and a father who is coming in from another country for the wedding, and who are bother going to meet her fiancé. But then things start going wrong, and she needs to get to the bottom of it, even if it causes her pain.

Then there is Bella, whose life was sort of going how she wants it, even if she has the biggest commitment-phobe boyfriend in the world! But that didn't matter as today wasn't about her, but about her best friend and bride Sasha. But then a horrific accident happens and Bella's life completely changes. But when life seems to go on without her and her own loved ones are struggling, Bella is grateful for new friends.

Lastly, there is Maddie, who after a very frank conversation with her grandmother, is determined to give her grandmother the wedding of her dreams! Even if she is doing it without her father's approval.

This book was amazing, well written, and with modern and thought-provoking storylines, and with characters that you will never forget and it flowed perfectly from one story to the next.

I do enjoy Dani Atkins books - but I'm not too sure about The Wedding Dress.
It tells the stories of Suzanne, Bella and Mandy. Each story felt incomplete. As soon as I found myself getting in to each one, they came to an end. Apart from each story being connected by the same wedding dress, I was disappointed that there was no further story that went with it, I was also not convinced that the dress would be worn by three completely different women.
Unfortunately, the three short stories were good, but they left me wanting more. I was sadly disappointed with this book.

This is a different type of book for Dani Atkins, it is three separate stories that are interlinked through a wedding dress. It was a lovely easy read which is just what I needed. The three women were all totally different but each one made me care what happened to them.

It did remind me a little of “White Wedding” by Millie Johnson.

I'm such a fan of Dani Atkins - she writes such heartwarming and charming romance novels. Fortunately, The Wedding Dress was no exception. This book centres around three women and how their stories become connected because of one wedding dress.

I loved how each woman's story was original and captivating. While some were filled with warmth, others featured loss and sadness. For me, the different storylines made the story flow quickly as I didn't want to put it down. I also find that Atkins has a really warm and inviting writing style, which was once again evident in The Wedding Dress.

With strong themes of love, family and friendship, I recommend The Wedding Dress to people looking to escape into a tender romance.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Head of Zeus for the ARC in exchange for this honest review.

As always I’ve loved Dani Atkins and her way with telling a story
Three women all linked by 1 very special dress. A wedding dress, hence the title.
Gwendoline Flowers is the owner of a bridal shop and her and 1 very special dress are the link between 3 very different women, Suzanne, Bella and Mandy. Their stories are all very different but very cleverly written and tied together to make this wonderful book
Dani has such a way with words that you instantly feel like you’re involved with each character and you feel all the emotions they go through as if you’re there with them

Without a doubt I highly recommend this book. Thanks to netgalley for the opportunity to read this title

I didn’t realise it was 3 separate stories but it was a enjoyable read. Packed with romance and laughter .

My favourite story was the rollercoaster one which highlights the power of meant to be and instinct.

Love runs through the veins of this book and Danis beautifully emotive storytelling .

This book is a exploration into how we humans love ,feel and hurt .

Three different love stories exploring relationships. This explores love in all its forms engagingly. The connection between the three stories is the wedding dress. The characters' stories are individual, but each has a link to the other. Believable characters, emotional stories and a magical connection make this a lovely uplifting read.

I received a copy of this book from 'Head of Zeus' via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Although I got a little confused with the fact there were 3 stories within one in this book and I think each story was equally as worthy of a book of their own I still loved it. It did cover every emotion from wanting to shake a character to say come on can't you see what's going on to sat crying when other characters found love and happiness. Each one was at a different part of their lives but all wanted the same outcome.

I am a huge fan of Dani Atkin's books and have read and loved all her previous books. I enjoyed this one but the concept was very different being 3 short stories, interlinked by the dress and other small details, which for me didn't give it the same emotional punch that her stories normally have.
The book grew stronger with the 2nd and 3rd stories, Bella's and Mandy's grandmother's, as I felt Suzanne's was a bit weak. Bella's story of how she overcame tragedy was beautiful and romantic and definitely my favourite.
I would recommend this book as it is wonderfully written as ever, just not my in my opinion one of Dani's best.

I am a huge Dani Atkins fan and always enjoy reading her books!

However, I felt like this book should have been 3 separate stories. Each story was amazing within itself, but could have offered so much more and been an amazing book in its own right. I was left feeling like I wanted more from all three sections.

I loved how the stories subtly linked but their paths never knowingly crossed. It was a good book that I read quickly but that was probably because I saw it as three short stories.

Wow!

Heart stopping but for all the right reasons!

Anyone who is a fan of Dani Atkins will know reading one of her books involves your heartstrings being pulled in about a million different directions and this one is no different but for happy, life affirming, good vibe reasons.

The story revolves around 3 women and there journeys with one wedding dress!

What I loved was that instead of weaving the characters individual stories together, each one is told in it’s own part of the book. So it was like 3 books in one. With each brides story being told in it’s own segment with a subtle nod to how they are all connected through the dress.

I read this book in two sittings it moved me to happy tears and silly smiles. That only someone with the talent of this author can do! Next book please Dani Atkins!

I am a huge fan of Dani Atkins books. She is a powerful writer who has a way with words. Some of her books have made me laugh out loud, cheer, cry, the whole emotional bundle. And this book was no different. It is such a beautifully written book that takes place over time and intertwines the lives of three different women. Three women and one wedding dress.

I enjoyed reading about the lives of the three different women as they embark on their lives and the days leading up to their wedding. They all have such different lives from one another, some full of joy, some full of loss or sadness, and it all centers around one key thing: their perfect wedding dress.

A uniquely written novel that I would recommend.

Three women with three very different love stories, linked together by one special wedding dress.

Is this book predictable? Yes.
Is this book cheesy? Yes.
Does any of that matter? No.

I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked in by its easy-to-read style pretty immediately, and drawn into the stories of the three main characters.

Suzanne is engaged to the supposed man of her dreams, but the build-up to her wedding is casting doubts on who he really is. Bella is attending her best friend's hen party when disaster strikes, and an accident changes her life dramatically. Mandy's grandmother has confided in her about her new love, but the rest of her family aren't supportive.

An easy, heartfelt read that was really enjoyable and tugged on the heartstrings.
