Thank you #Netgalley for this book. It has a slightly slow start but after about 40% I didn't want to put it down. I wish it had a little more about what happens to everyone at the end but overall it was a good read.

Hope receives a mysterious news article in her mailbox. A baby was kidnapped 34 years ago... could it possibly be her? The infant in the picture also has an ear deformity. Hope is heartbroken- she questions her Mom about it and she but feels like her mother is hiding something. Hope sends herself on a journey to try to find out if she truly is baby Jane. The plot is filled with secrets, lies and betrayals. This is a highly addictive page turner that left me always questioning who should I believe and in the end I was shocked with the outcome! Loved the twists!

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for a copy of this book for my my honest review.

This was my first time reading a Kerry Wilkinson book and won't be the last. From the moment hope receives a newspaper cutting through her door about a stolen baby it becomes an intriguing and page turning read. Twists and turns abound. Hope and her best friend Stephen are likeable characters and this was a light but enjoyable read.

Thank You Netgalley and Kerry Wilkinson for a copy of this title.
I have read a few of Kerry's books and find them enjoyable. It is nice to just read a book and not have to constantly think about who did it.
Thank you Kerry for a good read.

The Child in the Photo is a gripping suspense, that pulls you in from the start. Hope finds an old newspaper article in her mail one day about a baby that disappeared. The interesting aspect Hope and this baby share is that the tip of their ear is missing. This one detail turns this newspaper article into Hope's obsession.

Could she be this baby? What does this make her parents? All these questions and only this one article to go on. Leads Hope down a dark tunnel of who can she trust? Kerry Wilkinson has an amazing way of developing the characters, so you want to trust them. You will them to be trusting, and to be helping Hope uncover the truth. However, at some point during the book, I found each character to be completely untrustworthy and yelling at Hope to get away from them.

I thoroughly enjoyed the buildup and layering that took place until the final reveal of who did it and what they really wanted from Hope is revealed. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for this thrill a minute book.

When Hope is sent a newspaper article of a baby who was stolen and she recognises her detect, it sparks off a dramatic unrealistic plot, gripping and certainly readable but very far fetched !

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this ARC.

I thought the premise of this book looked good and my kind of read. It was, although I felt a little underwhelmed by it. I liked the main character Hope. When she is sent a newspaper cutting from over 30 years ago about an abducted baby who she thinks could be her everything she knows about her family is turned upside down. When that bit of the story was resolved the book fizzled out a bit for me. There are separate story threads with secondary characters which I liked and the book finishes with all loose ends tied up nicely. I did enjoy this book, it just didn’t wow or thrill me though and at times I thought it was a little drawn out. Overall an easy read and one I’d recommend.

4.5 stars. I have enjoyed many of this authors books always knowing am in for a treat. This one had an interesting storyline and I did not know who to trust, doubting all the characters at one point or other. It was very well written and I read it in a day as it kept me gripped throughout

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advanced copy of this book!!

One day when Hope returns home she sees an envelope delivered to her that has a article about a missing baby that was stolen 34 years ago that has a missing piece of ear just like Hope. Could she be the missing baby and everything she’s ever been told a lie?

I really liked this book! The action starts right away and while you think you know where it is going there are many twists and turns before you get to the end. The book was very easy to read and I will definitely be reading more books by Kerry Wilkinson.

This is my first book by Kerry Wilkinson and it won't be my last. It's a great late-night page-turner and the plot itself was very interesting and something that you can see yourself reading on the front pages of your morning newspaper. Thanks so much for the copy and I would highly recommend this book to my family and friends.

I recently added Kerry Wilkinson to my short list of authors I would read anything from, based on how much I liked a previous book, "The blame". When I saw that this book, "The Child in the Photo", was available, I was so happy and even happier when I got approved to read it. I love Mr. Wilkinson's storytelling style and this book was so easy to get hooked on. This was an engaging story, all the time I'm thinking I know what is going to happen next but I'm wrong, and I like it! Great story, likeable and realistic characters. I can't wait for the author's next book. Thank you NetGalley, publisher and author, for allowing me to read this fantastic story in exchange for my review.

I enjoyed this well plotted and beautifully written story. It drew my interest from the start and held it to the end. I could feel the emotion flowing through Hope as she was uncovering the past. I highly recommend this read to anyone who enjoys a good mystery.

This is a book you won't want to put down. As well as feeding your curiosity it will tug on your heartstrings. I found myself questioning what I would do in Hope's position. She has been nurtured and loved by her parents and it defies belief that they could have abducted her as a baby but the evidence seems stacked against them. A truly emotive book which shows just what a master of the psychological suspense thriller Kerry Wilkinson is.

When someone posts a letter through her door about a kidnapped infant 30 years ago, hope begins to question her life. Is that her in the photo, and if so, did her parents kidnap her and raise her as their own?

Hope begins to look into things to try to figure out if her parents are who she 5inks they are, or not. She gets lost in lies and entwined with other families until she can hopefully, for the truth.

I liked the story but they’re made it almost too complex. There’s a lot of layers to the overall story that just made things complication for no reason. Quick, short chapters and just an easy reading style overall.

The Child in the Photo by Kerry Wilkinson is another utterly addictive read from an author who never lets me down. When you pick up any novel from Mr Wilkinson, you are virtually guaranteed a compelling and rewarding reading experience, and this latest is no exception.

Hope Taylor receives a newspaper clipping through her letterbox one day that details a crime that happened over thirty years ago. An infant girl was abducted, never found and, most mysteriously, the child bears a physical peculiarity that Hope herself shares. Is Hope the missing child? And who has anonymously, and literally, laid this bombshell at her door?

This one had me hooked from the very first page. I cannot wait to see where this exciting author takes us next.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an ARC.
