I See God in Everything is a cute story for younger kids that helps bring understanding about God down to a younger child's level.. I read it with my 5 and 9 year old and we all enjoyed it. The illustrations go along with the story nicely. The pace of the book is good for a read aloud or alone.

I love the message in I See God in Everything by Travis Peager! I See God in Everything teaches children and adults alike that God did in fact create everything and how we can see Him through everything in creation and everything we go through. This book is beautifully written and illustrated. I believe this book would be perfect to read as a family—even a family devotion— or as a component of a Christian curriculum. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this book. Some of the illustrations are beautiful. I love the idea of seeing God in everything. I like the simple message of how God is love, and his love surrounds us. I just feel as though this book is lacking any depth, even depth that children can understand, and I have to wonder WHAT God is being discussed here. It seems so generic that it could be just about any God. I think that it is important to include some depth in books, even for younger children, to teach the truth of who God is, what the Bible tells us about Him, and why we are able to see Him in the world around us.

This is a good book that encourages gratitude for what God has given us and how he loves us. Unfortunately, I feel the text gets a little derailed between the page about sneezing and the page about her teeth. Having had a serious tone for most of the book, I'm not sure if these pages are supposed to be funny and I felt the text was rather awkward. A wonderful idea, good pictures, but felt a little unedited to me.

I love the concept of how they see God everywhere, I have often been told when we look we see and this book def emphasises it. In some places it seems complicated for a child but often a child observes things so differently to an adult. Maybe this will inspire all all, no matter our age to see God in everything around us.

This was a cute book. I appreciated the representation and the humor in it. I do think the book could have flowed a little better, but, overall, a very cute book!

This is a short but good book. It goes along with a girl who sees God in everything. I like that it gives reasons she thinks God is in everything. It will make a child think about what God made and how big it is. It will let a child know they are never alone.

3.5 stars. This picture book has a good message in that God created us and everything around us. It encourages children to see God all around them, even in the everyday things like brushing your teeth. The illustrations are really good and show diversity. It's a positive message and reminds us that we could all be more grateful for the things around us. There were a couple of bits of the text that didn't quite work for me. It starts out systematically looking at the seasons, but some of the other bits seemed a little random. The explanation for Fall was a little vague. Some of the pages had rhyming lines and others didn't. That's not necessarily a problem, but it did create an expectation that I wondered if it was meant to be a rhyming book. Still I did appreciate the positive message.

I really love the idea for this book and the illustrations are beautiful. I agree that this book is needed at this time!! Overall I liked the book but I think some aspects were a bit random. Just didn’t seem to flow in my opinion. Some parts felt like simple poetry whereas some were just sentences. However for a young child I think it would get the point across and be engaging!

Coming from a non religious background this book wasn't necessarily for me, but I can definitely appreciate that people that are religious, and most children will love this book!

Beautiful pictures and short sentences make this a book for young children to enjoy. This would be perfect to have on a bookshelf at home or even for a church to keep for their young members.

A cute children's picture book that reminded me to see God in everything, even things you don't usually think of.

Thank you for the chance to read this young reader's book in exchange for honest feedback. I am approaching this book as someone outside of the target religious group. I think that can offer some fresh perspective on the content strictly in terms of its writing/illustrations, etc. Ultimately, this book reminded me of something that a Sunday School teacher might read with younger kids. The strength (in my view) is in its gorgeous illustrations. The writing is varied. Sometimes the passages are several sentences, and sometimes just one. It doesn't really follow any certain meter or rhyme. That's why I think the illustrations are the best bit for kids... you can also pause in various areas and talk about certain things if you feel like it! Like how seasons work... or maybe just some religious views/passages that you find relevant at certain points. I am glad that the author found a way to put his creative energy forward and wish him good luck in it!

Despite the fact that this book comes from a very small indie publisher I’ve never heard of, (which seems to have only ever published a couple books, all by the same author) I decided to take a look at it based upon its beautiful cover and the fact that it falls into the surprisingly underrepresented genre of Christian picture books. The rest of the illustrations did not disappoint; this book is full of vibrantly colorful pictures depicting the beauty of nature and a cheerful, bright-eyed African American protagonist. The first several pages show the changing of the seasons; I especially enjoyed the detail in the hummingbirds and butterflies on the springtime pages. It was a little surprising and disappointing to me that the illustrator(s) isn’t/aren’t credited directly because the artwork came from a “children’s book illustration agency”. Unfortunately, those hummingbirds were the single redeeming quality in an otherwise unremarkable book. The text sometimes rhymes and sometimes doesn’t, but follows no distinguishable meter, there’s no logical progression of ideas, and the message is shallow; this book will do little to teach young Christians about God other than the vague fact that He exists.
