I have read all this author’s previous books and really enjoy her writing style and characterisations.

This one is my favourite, it blew me away. The different timelines were easy to follow and gave a great insight into the relationships. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

S.E.Lynes has a talent for capturing people and how they relate to each other. I've particularly enjoyed this skill with all her books. The One to Blame is no exception.

Besides being thrilling and tense, this novel holds great pathos. Two sisters have drifted apart due to time passing by and living in different parts of the country. It often happens but it's particularly sad when your sister dies.

I enjoyed the camaraderie of the female characters. Annie's friends are her strength in adverse times. They offer the same to her sister.

This is a novel bound to satisfy any thriller lover's appetite. Nothing is ever as it seems.

I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. I have read many books by this author and always enjoyed them, this one was no exception. It started off a bit slow but picked up in the end. Interesting characters and plot, looking forward to the next one.

Go for it.
Annie met Dom, he seemed like everything she was waiting for: charming, loving, generous. When they got married, and he showed her the studio he’d built in the garden for her to paint in, she knew that at last she had found a way to be free. She didn’t notice the trap until it had closed around her. And now, as she does his shopping and cooks his food and sits waiting for him well into the night, she has to smile through her tears, hide her anger, and tell no one the truth, not even her sister Isla.
Isla thought Annie was happy. They have always been as close as sisters can be, they knew everything about each other. And then the call comes in the middle of the night. Annie and Dom are dead.
Characters were original. Narration was flowing.
I loved it. But it was a little bit slow in the middle. Overall it's a good read.
I'm doing more promotion on its release date among my fellow Authors Bloggers Family Friends and followers.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for giving me an advanced copy of this psychological thriller.

The one to blame by S.E. Lynes.
I really enjoyed this book. What a shocker of a read. A surprising twist in the story. Good characters. I did find it slow to begin with but once you get into the story I was hooked until the Las page. 5*.
