The Case for Christ Devotions for Kids 365 Days with Jesus by Lee Strobel is one of my favorite devotion books all time! In the same vein of the Case of Christ, Mr. Strobel brings his investigating expertise and interviews experts about questions about if Jesus really existed the way the Bible says. I love how each of the 365 devotion entries are not only backed up by actual evidence, but Biblical evidence as well. The Case for Christ Devotions for Kids 365 Days with Jesus Is written in a way that 8-12 year olds can understand and at the same time, challenge them and help them grow in their Faith. I love how the devotion breaks up the investigation and includes a Bible verse, prayer, and questions with each entry. I highly recommend this book. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

I enjoyed incorporating these devotionals into my daily time with my kids. I was a big fan of The Case For Christ and was hopeful for something exactly like this. The devotionals are quick but engaging and they open up many avenues for continued conversation. This is the best daily devotional book I have tried so far with my kids. I will absolutely be recommending it to my friends with kids as well.

When I saw that Lee Strobel had written a book, “The Case for Christ Devotions for Kids” I knew I had to pick it up for my kids. Each night we read a different devotional, which taught different lessons and also challenged the way they thought about religion and God. I had initially worried that the topics would be difficult to follow for kids in the 8-11 age group, but quickly learned that this was not the case. Each lesson challenged them through lessons in the Bible, and through insightful questions on each lesson, challenging them to examine religion in a new way. We all began to look forward to the nightly devotionals, and discussions that followed based off the questions.

I highly recommend this book as a daily devotional for kids.

This 365-day devotional combines historical fact and theological truth as the author, Lee Strobel, builds a case for why Jesus is Christ. Written to address the questions of 8-12 year old readers, this Case for Christ devotional combines Biblical history and research to encourage your child's spiritual growth. Each day includes scripture, short devotional, questions for contemplation, and prayer. This is a great book for really personalizing the faith. The author does a very good job of laying out prophesy and history in leading up to the deity of Christ. We included this devotional in our homeschool morning basket, but it would be great for family devotions or as a book for individual study. Personally, I loved reading through it with my children as it really forced me to think and reflect as well.

Amazing book. I love how the devotions are short but make a point. Then there are two questions that the child can apply what they learned to their life. This book is a must have. I will definitely make sure my child reads this book this summer.

It is great to see many more books of a variety of devotions coming out now for Christian kids. This one is good and once my grandchildren are of that age, I would buy it for them. It would also be a good gift to buy for a friend or older child who is asking questions about faith as it is not overly religious or presumtious. It asks questions and poses ideas from which the young reader can think, reflect, research and make up their own mind. Good book.

I wish this book had been around when I was growing up! Perfect for a few minutes reflection each day, pondering the things that creep into young minds. A sensible companion, regarding real life with humour and strong Christian beliefs. Ideal for shared reading and discussion, but equally for contemplation.
