I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

It was a quick read overall. There were points that felt like it was too predictable but as far as the story goes, it was pretty good.

You will tumble into Falling for You by Bailey B, a five-star read. This tale was enjoyable, but it didn't feel as complete as the other books I've read by the author. It took me a little while to get into it, whereas with the other books, I was immediately engrossed. No matter what is between them or how far apart they seem to be, Josh and Layla are attracted to one another by a powerful attraction. They have a lengthy, emotionally draining journey ahead of them that may be too much for them. However, we all know that what doesn't break us only makes us stronger. This is a fantastic tale, and I can't wait to see what the author will do next, but I can only hope that it will involve another cameo at The Red Onion because I have a special space in my heart for that establishment.

This wasn’t really for me, it’s not that story is so bad , but I think it needs more editing or work, the ending seems so sudden too ????

Bailey B. is the kind of writer that is able to suck you right into the story. The characters are flawed, sometimes broken or even beyond repair. And still, in the middle of all the drama and heartbreak, something beautiful will grow. This was my third book from Bailey B. and she hasn’t ceased to amaze me. Same as with Beautifully Broken, the characters Layla and Josh both have their flaws and their issues.

And although Layla wants to steer clear from Josh, it is his relentless pursuit that enables him to break through her tough exterior. But will he find what he expected? Raw, vulnerable and beautiful. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

This book was a cute romance to read - the angst and drama created were really enjoyable to follow along and to get immersed in. The writing was also very descriptive which was great because it allows for the reader to become even more immersed and connected in this world and characters. However, I personally feel like some descriptions could have been taken out, to not overdo it since it is a romance novel (unlike a fantasy where this is more needed). Despite this, the steam was also great - a great balance. One thing that did surprise me was how deep we got and sometimes not the easiest to read. Despite all this, this book did carry a few flaws. Firstly, Layla was a difficult character for me to connect with because of the"pick me/not like other girls" energy she radiated which I'm not a huge fan of. On the other hand, I loved Josh and their romance. Another thing that I believe could've increased the angst was if it was more slow burn. Also, the misunderstanding trope could've been avoided easily and just frustrating to read through. The thing that sets this book from others would be the deep dive she takes into our character's problems which is appreciated.Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

This was a fun read. The author wrote it in such a way that it played out like a movie in my head as I read it. This was a cute and fun book palate cleanser.

Gah! Falling for You is a delightful new adult romance. I am such a sucker for books like this, so of course I love it.
But don't get me wrong. The storyline has some flaws and definitely mad me so damn angry at times.
But who can resist a story with instant attraction and so many ups and downs.
As for the characters, both had their issues and were struggling. Layla's life is a shit show and her family is evil in my eyes. The poor girl had no one looking out for her. Then there's Josh who's kinda stuck in a life on the farm. He's had to mature too quickly, but certainly lets off steam with the girls.
Damn, Josh feel hard for her! Really hard. And oh my god, he was so damn sweet at times. I was swooning over his protective mode and his "all In" attitude.
This is a story of him working hard to convince her to be together. It's a long battle and a hard fought win. Yay she finally gives in.
Then BOOM, life threw Josh a major curveball, which set them into a major spiral.
In the end, I love this book and the feelings this story evoked. I was in hook, line, and sinker.
Their story is messy, has a lot of annoying moments, and could have been a little more developed at times.
But, overall, the ending is just so damn feel good.
It's a fun new adult romance for sure.

[Thanks Netgalley for the ebook. This review is my honest opinion but just another opinion, you should read this book and judge it by yourself]
Sadly, this book was not for me.
I've struggle during the whole reading, I couldn't connect with the MC and their story and background stories. They seemed flat and sometimes a little silly. I couldn't understand most of their reactions and frankly I couldn't feel their love either. Maybe it's my fault, I didn't feel it since the beginning and it hindered the rest of the reading.
But I must confess it was easy to read.. Even when I couldn't stand the MC I couldn't stop reading.

I had a difficult time with this book as I didn’t feel any connection to the characters. I feel more back story about Layla and Josh would result in a better understanding of their motivations and goals. I also have little patience for teenage histrionics so I would not be the target audience for this book.

So many questions! Why was Layla working for her aunt given the fractious relationship they have? Layla was supposed to work over the summer but why not in another business? Since his Paw died, Josh had taken to working on the family farm. But did he take on the yoke of responsibility with pleasure or was under duress?

This was a super sweet New Adult Romance. Josh and Layla were opposites who couldn't help the pull that they felt between each other.

This one is a slow burn. Josh was ready to be all in fairly quickly and Layla had to play catch up with her feelings. I really liked them together once they finally got to that point in their relationship.

Josh is quite the catch in the town and Layla is immune to his charming nature. It's hard to not give anything away for this one. But if you like small town opposites attract romances than this is one for you.

This was a nice read. I did find the pacing a little slow in parts of the story. I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I struggled with this book. I couldn't relate to the characters at all and I found the whole thing rather childish.

I felt the characters came off really young but then you realise they are older and it's confusing 🤣

Small issues were blown up and I just felt things could have been dealt with a lot easier. I felt things were going on that wasn't explained properly or in detail enough.

I get where the story was going or trying to go but it needed much more background to make it work. There was too much emphasis on things that didn't seem relevant by the end.

Not for me sorry.

This book was good but I didn’t like it as much as her and her books I’ve read. It was kind of a slow start and I wasn’t sure what the purpose of the colson and Ashley story since we never really hear anymore about them. For all the build up it was kind of a quick ending. Anywho, thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book is my favorite type for when I finish a big series, or heavy book. It's an easy and quick read, and would recomend it for people on a reading slump.

With that being said I had some problems with the book. The main character is not very likable, she made some comments about Hatthie's weight (they weren't the worse the problem was the way she reacted when Josh offered some of Hatthie's clothes to her) and the Native costume on Halloween ( I'm brazilian so might not be the best to approach this subject) but it felt wrong, that isn't a costume and she shouldn't have been portayed as using that. Josh was the best character in this book, I really loved that one of his first line is him talking about being a bull-rider and later explaing he doesn't really ride anymore. Also the book just suddenly ends, I was really suprised because on the device I was reading on it said I was on 88% of the book.

This was gold for me:

""Hey there." Fucking, hell. What am I, sixty? Who talks like this? Why can't I be normal and just say hi"

Thank you NetGalley and BookGoSocial for giving me acess to read this book! (All opinions in this review are mine)

Well, the story is not bad - it is a classic romance story seen from both his and her perspective. But I have issues with the writing or perhaps it is the editing. I feel like many important elements of the story have been excluded, and I cannot help feeling like I missed essential parts...

The ending comes around so suddenly, it makes me wonder if the Kindle edition is missing a part of the story!?!

Thank you NetGalley, BooksGoSocial and the author to provide me a digital copy of "Falling for you".

If you are looking for a quick light hearted read with a roller coaster of emotions then this one's the best for you.
I really enjoyed the book, especially the dual perspectives of the characters' (Layla and Josh). I also loved the writing style, as the author starts the book with a heartbreak and then took us into past. I just didn't feel the intensity of their love for eachother overall everything was great!

I did like the story. It was a cute storyline. Their love was kind of a weird situation. Didn’t feel like they were madly in love. I would have like to be able to feel the love but it just wasn’t crazy young love that they couldn’t live without each other.
I liked that it didn’t go overboard with the drama. It did have a few shocks that I honestly didn’t see coming. Just a really cute story.
