While reading this book it became very clear to me that I didn’t like it.
This story portrays the main character as attractive while making a jab at her friend who is 20lbs heavier than her, that alone doesn’t sit right with me.
Please research the triggers before reading!!
While the relationship between the main characters was sweet it was hard to follow who they were as individuals. As if the author wasn’t sure who they were either.
This book is 18+ due to the few intimate scenes it contains.
Overall I’d give this book a 3/5 stars, it would’ve been less but due to the very cute Epilogue and the relationship between the main characters being sweet I gave it an extra star.

This was a good story. I felt a bit disconnected with Layla at the beginning and her backstory, but after awhile it wasn't necessary to have to enjoy the story. I liked Josh, but he was keeping a lot of himself a secret from Layla so she wouldn't like him for his money. I think these two both had issues opening up to each other, which is a problem when you are dating long-distance.

Overall I liked this book and I'm glad I got the chance to read it.
