When crime hits your neighborhood, you'd join foroces with the devil himself to stop more people being hurt. That's the premise of the Bad Blood series. When the police can't solve a case, they ask for help from those you'd least expect. A procedural thriller with a twist.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

Fantastic book to read. This has been one of my favourite series of books. I find with series they start off great but don’t always keep up the good work. You can’t say that with this series.
I enjoyed every one. I hope there is more to come from Grace and Michael. I am missing them already. What a brilliant writer you are.It was very well written

Another fantastic instalment in the Bad Blood series.

From the first book, Caz Finlay delivers a gritty storyline that will leave you second guessing your morals as you champion the lesser of two evils. It was great to see Grace back to her badass self and I enjoyed the way the story unfolded. With short chapters throughout I was hungry to know what happened next. As the books are centred around Liverpool gangland and crime sometimes the extent of the evils is a little hard to read but the author provides a lot of authenticity. Nothing feels too exaggerated.

I’ll be sad when the series ends but can’t wait for the next book.

Rated 4 1/2 stars on the blog...
Dark, twisty and gripping, especially with their not being a trace of DNA and a family - The Carter Family being strong in the gangland world. The only clue? The victims were all residents at Sunnymeade Childrens Home.

It is a huge, gruesome case which D.I Leigh Moss is intent on solving. The past comes hurtling into the present and old tensions arise to the surface as an increase in danger emerges, especially as the only help may well be Grace, part of the gangland family.

The book delves into the different relationships of the characters and into the murky gangland world of Liverpool. It's atmospheric and gritty, especially the deeper you go into this world. It's quite the page-turner as the dangers ramp up and there-in lies secrets and betrayals.

This was a great installment to the series and nothing is as it seems. Just when I thought I had it all figured out…poof! Great crime/gangland series.

What a read!
What a Ride!

Back with The Carters. Liverpool gangland crime at it's best.

A superb gritty read that you will not want to put down. I know I didn't.

Grace and Michael have taken a back seat in their family business, Yet when DI Leigh Moss asks Grace for help she can't help herself, But why would a gangland boss be helping the police.
Grace can ask the questions and get the answers to things the police never could and as it's 3 young women that have been murdered Grace wants it stopping.

An explosive storyline that will keep you gripped and reading right to the last page.

Can't believe I haven't read any books by this author before! Even though this was part of a series I found it didn't matter. Loved Grace Carter and her family. Three young prostitutes are murdered in Liverpool and Grace is determined to find out who did it. Gritty and fast paced thriller

Young prostitutes are being murdered in Liverpool and the responsibility to find the culprit goes to DI Leigh Moss and her team. The young girls all have in common that they had all been children at Sunnymeade Children's home years earlier. With no clues as to who is committing these crimes, DI Moss has only one person she can turn to. Grace Carter with her husband Michael are the heads of the biggest crime family in Liverpool.

OMG, what a cracker of a book, along with the older characters from previous books we meet some new ones which keep the series fresh and exciting. This book is like being on a white knuckle ride, you get thrown in all directions and at times feel sick.
Caz Finley gets better and better with each book she writes,
This book will grip you from the off, it is addictive and the ending will not disappoint.
Well worth 5 stars.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this brilliant book. xx

Another really GREAT installment in this incredible series. After four books we have watched the ‘Gangland Queen’ Grace Carter come into her own as she takes over and carves a new style and understanding of a mob lype gang in Liverpool. Now well established, Grace is drawn into a police investigation into the deaths of prostitutes that may have have involved members of her gang family. It’s better to read them in sequence to enjoy the richness in the characters but if this new one gets you into the series - go for it - no disappointment here!

I so much enjoy reading books by Caz Finlay and have read all her previous books. Each one has been excellent. Whilst I seldom write what a story is about as I prefer one to read the book for themselves, I do highly recommend this book.

My thanks to Netgalley and the Publishers for my copy.

Awaiting Amazon to publish my review.
