Enjoyed this book. Quick read and a nice story. Cinderella theme but with self growth and friendships. Excellently written and just what you need to get you over a reading slump!

Lindsey Kelk is one of my favourite authors and just like her previous books Ona Night Like This didn’t disappoint. A laugh out loud story that left me wanting more ( please, please write more) there were many likeable characters and every girl needs a friend like Jess. Highly recommended.

Perfect chick lit, I loved ‘On a night like this.’ I loved Fran’s character and was immediately invested in her story and adventures. Laugh out loud in places, this was an easy enjoyable read for 5 stars.

I am a huge Lindsey Kelk fan and always think her books are a brilliant mix of general fiction / romance and laugh out loud moments.
This one for me took a while to get into and almost halfway through I found I didn’t really get where the story was going. I think it took a long time to get to the ‘Ball’ but from there to the end was really good.
It didn’t have me laughing as much as her other books have but it was an enjoyable, easy read.

One of Kelk’s best recent books, this was slow to get started but the pay off of this Cinderella inspired romcom has her signature daffy but loveable leads, oodles of glamour and great chemistry between romantic leads. Fran ends up being one of the best lead characters as she is relatable and likeable, and I was rooting for her to find a happy ending.

A light-hearted and warm romantic comedy with a modern Cinderella vibe. A beautiful book to be enjoyed as a holiday read with a glass of something bubbly.

Francesca finds herself as a temporary PA for a mega pop star and on her way to Italy. Surely she can keep the music diva on schedule for five days, right? Not so fast. This has some Cinderella elements and I loved the way Kelk told this lovely tale with so much humor while modelling some excellent coping skills. You might find this to be a self-help title as well. And get ready for some tall, dark, and handsome. . . This is the romance you need in your 2022. Trust me. You will love it!

What a feel good book! I adored Lindsey Kelk's "I heart" series and this book was just as wonderful: equal parts funny to feel good. The protagonist Fran finds herself in a bit of a rut: her 12 year relationship with Stew has gone stagnant, he wants he to give up on assistant work that she adores and become a teacher, settling for the life they have. He refused to discuss it further. Fran finds herself out of work before Christmas and offered a 5 day PA role to a celebrity. With no opportunity to speak to Stew, an NDA signed, and she is whisked on a flight to Naples and launched onto a billionaire's yacht with the star of the moment Juliette. Of course, it is not plain sailing and she finds herself stranded in Panarea and hijacking the exclusive Crystal Ball in a stunning gown and trainers, Cinderella-esque. Throw in a dashing handsome male and the workings are there for a beautiful rom-com. However, the real focus is on Fran finding her own path- giving up the continuous self sacrifice of her own life to meet the needs of those around her and finally following her own path; and of course in forging strong female friendships that help raise you up. The handsome billionaire is a great bonus though! #OnANightLikeThis #LindseyKelk #Netgalley

A lovely rich man, poor girl romance with a famous singer and an exclusive ball thrown in for good measure, that’s without mentioning a mishap involving a cat. This novel is not very deep reading but does give some layers to people. I found the characters very easy to empathise with and it’s in true Lesley Kelk style.

Lindsey Kelk is honestly just the gift that keeps on giving. I absolutely devoured this book and read it at every opportunity I could get! I loved how this book captured so many different stories- The character development of Fran of course, but also of Juliette and Sarah. The tale of friendship, and of course the romance! As always; I loved Kelk’s humour and it had me chuckling at several points in the book. I wish there was a bit more of Evan and I really do hope there is an opportunity for a sequel of this book! 😍

A Cinderella retelling and romantic comedy at full blast, with a make up artist that just does her magic and transforms our heroine in the main character of any play, and so many laugh out loud moments that my face hurt and had to take a break from it.
It’s a slower start as we get to know a bit more about these characters and their life but it’s so worth it to keep reading because in no time I was drawn into this beautiful story.
I loved other books by the author and I’m looking forward to more in the future. She’s becoming one of my must read authors.
