A truly incredible, well written book. As a parent, so many part of this book were very very relatable. This Is a lifting book filled with laughter, love, complete honesty about parenting and the reality that not everything is as it seems. Even the most put together people need help!

I loved the story and the way it’s told is fresh and unusual, it managed to make a strong point about people’s lives really well while still being readable.
The writing style is fresh and different, it feels like someone talking which I loved.
If I had a point for improvement
it would be that I wanted to know more about the characters. I felt that everyone had such an interesting back story which wasn’t covered in enough detail and they were so believable that I wanted to know more.

A Different Kind Of Happy, Rachaele Hambleton 💕

Happiness comes in all sizes. Jo thought she was happy at 19 when she met Mark but when that fell apart she was forced to start again. Now she is happy in the chaos of her patchwork family, but life does not run smooth. With a big move, a puppy, a work/life balance, emotional baggage, two sets of exes and life’s up and downs.

This domestic fiction is a story about family, love and new beginnings. At times (if you follow the author) it may feel autobiographical and it builds to a an explosive third act. With a cast of (mostly) cheerful characters this is a perfect fictional pairing to Rachaeles original non fiction debut.

This book proves nothing is ever as it seems.

This book touches on issues that if you can’t relate to, then definitely someone you know has been through.

It will make you laugh, but it will also make you cry!

Perfect beach read that you won’t be able to put down!
