Swipe Right is a fun and feel-good romantic comedy that captures the ups and downs of modern dating with warmth and humour. Stephie Chapman brings us a relatable story about love, friendship and second chances, all wrapped up with a refreshing and witty tone.
The main character is easy to root for and the chemistry between the leads really draws you in. I appreciated the balance between the light-hearted moments and the more thoughtful reflections on past relationships and personal growth. The musical references were a lovely touch too and added a fun layer to the story.
This is a perfect pick for readers who enjoy romcoms that are both entertaining and heartfelt. I flew through it and finished with a smile.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.

It was an amazing novel and I loved each second of it. I even didn't put it down since I started it. And it's currently 4 in the morning 😂 I think that speaks for itself

This was an adorable story about how 'The One' can be right under our nose the whole time.
whilst the story was frustrating in parts, overall it is a cute, quick read with lots of laughs.
Highly recommend and I will definitely be picking up this authors books in future.

I received this from NetGalley in return for an honest review.
I won’t lie, it wasn’t great. It was easy to read but I didn’t care enough about the characters and at times it felt like a bit of a slog to get through.

Not to be mean, but I can't mention one thing I honestly liked about this book. Whenever I think about it, I can't help but dwell on all the things I didn't like. The characters were very frustrating. And for a romance, they lacked chemistry. I have no idea what they saw in each other.
2 stars because the audiobook was okay.

I really enjoyed this audiobook.
Fran and Ollie hit it off at a job interview and end up working together, their friendship throughout the story is lovely, you can tell they have feelings for each other they just don’t admit it to each other, also because Ollie is in a long term relationship with Lou.
Fran starts an anonymous blog to write about her online dating and how horrific it can be, which becomes a hit with readers.
After an unfortunate dating incident Fran shelves her input into the blog, Ollie makes a life changing decision which forces Fran to also make one.
Will their paths cross again, you will need to read it to find out.
Thanks Netgalley for the opportunity to listen to this book.

I listened to the audiobook book of this and really enjoyed it.
Emma Carter, the narrator was really easy to listen to and really helped bring the characters to life.
I loved the story line, I felt so grabbed to the story. Fran was such a relatable charcater, who you really felt for in some places.
At the start Fran starts a new job and is in a relationship with the completely wrong guy. But then at her interview for her new job, ballsy Fran meets Ollie. Her first impressions are conflicting, she finds him attractive but arrogant. Sparks fly when they are teamed together, both trying to keep their mutual attraction at bay. The modern When Harry Met Sally.
Sometimes you can't beat a classic enemies-to-friends-to-romantic interest. Throughout the whole book the reader knows what should happen before the characters do. Sometimes they are the best as they warm your heart and as a reader you love seeing the happy ending.
Suze and Carlina were the perfect BFFs for Fran. Two great characters who helped point out the flaws in the main charcater and help lighten the mood. Their friendship seemed realistic which helps enjoy the story more. Other characters as well helped build the Fran and helped the story, they all had great depth and development.
A really nice, easy, heart-warming, funny, engaging read and would definitely recommend.

Listened to this book and really enjoyed it. The narrator was really easy to listen to and I loved the story line. I laughed in places and really felt for the main character in others. Bit of a predictable ending but enjoyed the journey to get there. Nice easy read and would definitely recommend

Sadly I really didn't gel with this book. I had the audio version and I think it was a combination of the writing style and the narrator that combined to make it a bad experience. I found the writing to be flat and the narrator to have a dull lack lustre voice. Combined these two made the book sound like when the audio descriptive is turned on for a TV program - flat and dull and background speaking lacking any dynamics.

Overall I enjoyed this book, although it took me a long time to come to this conclusion. I was conflicted about my feelings towards the characters and their actions but I enjoyed the plot by the end and I liked some of the character arcs.

Initially I wasn’t sure about the narrator and I think that did affect how quickly I got into the book. But she grew on me and from that point on I really enjoyed it. I loved the characters and got really invested in the two main leads and their relationship, and the supporting characters were also really well placed and their personalities felt real and just like the diversity that you would find in a real friendship group.
Throughout the book I experienced a mixture of emotions interspersed with some very humorous scenes and one liners.
Overall this was a very enjoyable read/listen that I would definitely recommend.
My thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this book in return for an honest review.

Very funny and loved it from start to finish. Very relevant to the times we live in now. I listened to it whilst out on my morning walk and literally started laughing down the street. That’s when I know it’s a good read, or in this case listen!

This was your average rom com. Nothing special. I enjoyed the story, but nothing stood out to me. This opinion is all my own thoughts.

I really enjoyed this book. and I feel like Viral Hive would be a really interesting place to work. I loved the camraderie between the team mates, and the work there seemed so interesting, too.
The romance between Fran and Ollie was wonderfully slow burning, and it gave me plenty of time to get to know them as separate people and as a couple. The little hints of frisson were so lovely to see, as well.
Some of the dates from Fran's dating column were a little out there, but they were still entertaining to read.
I loved the narrator of the audiobook, who really brought the story to life. The accents she used were fantastic.

An easy read- perfect for the summer. I listened to the audio book audio book found the narrator perfect for the.main character. She was chatty and I jumped straight into the book from the first page.

What a FANTASTIC rom com chicklit!
Stephie Chapman has produced a corker with this one!
This book has everything you can could wish for. Its has a flow that is so easy and grips you from the very beginning.
Its laugh out loud funny, cheeky, fun, sassy & even a bit naughty!🤣😉
The main characters Funny Fran & Hot cock sure Ollie are introduced to this story by competing in a group interview for a dream job in a top media company. Straight away they both made negative, competitive assumptions of each other or was that chemistry?
Surprisingly they both land the job and so begins their friendship and working relationship!.
Frans on line stalking on varied social media platforms (that we've all done!) disappointingly revealed that Ollie had a long term girlfriend 'her'.
However their working relationship has challenges but soon grew into a cute friendship.
Various projects and ideas they have are a hit and one in particular results in Fran combining a personal tinder style swipe right dating journey with an anonymous work column and oh my god.... there are some hilarious, classic horror story dates that fran experiences and shares! (Some of which left me laughing out loud and even very saucy!) all whilst Ollie is frontline witnessing and gradually growing more protective towards Fran. Bless him!
This is not a predictable plot by any means and I can't express how much I enjoyed!
I have read a previous novel by Stephie which I also enjoyed but this one is so current and portrays the real world of social media on line dating, the media world and modern friendships so well!
There are many characters in this story that are so likeable and again, real.
As I am registered blind, I love being able to continue reading and enjoying books in the audio versions and when you get a narrator as good as Emma Carter, it makes so much difference. She was amazing! Well done Emma!
From opening chapter to the final I loved it. I devoured this in 2 days and didn't want it to end!
I thoroughly recommend this book. Definitely a holiday book on the beach. (Oh if only!) 🤣🌴
Thank you to the Author Stephie, narrator, Emma and of course netgalley and Sara Egmont Audio for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
I look forward to more from Stephie Chapman! 🌟
'I will be sharing my review on goodreads also - however can't work out how to add the link! Sorry'

A modern day love story which was a delight to listen to.
Of course when you start the story you know how it will end but you just don’t know about the twists and turns inbetween.
Thoroughly enjoyable.

I don’t often read romance but sometimes they are just the refreshing sort of read you need.
Thanks to Netgalley I read this one on audio.
I liked this book and the main character Fran was fun and a strong female lead.
It was predictable of course - what novel isn’t these days?
But it was breezy and a chilled read.

This was a lovely romance that I devoured in a day or two. The narrator did a good job but the story was lacking some depth or something that would make the story memorable and stand out from the many other romances out there.

This is maybe a 3.5. The overall story I enjoyed but there were things that I had to doc points for. The main one being the writing style. For a lot of this book the sentence structure is very simple and reads somewhat disjointed. Almost as though the author is listing actions rather than telling a story and for this reason I never got fully sucked into the world of the book. This case is especially true at the beginning.
*SPOILERS*
The only other part I wasn't a big fan of was the characters "justification" for cheating. I am not a fan of 'I'm allowed to cheat and I'm not in the wrong at all because my partner does this'.
There were still parts I enjoyed and the comedic between the friends in this novel in my opinion are by far the best part of the whole book
