Thank you to NetGalley, Saga Egmont Audio and Stephie Chapman for an ARC in return for an honest review.
What an absolutely delightful romantic comedy. This is not typically my go-to genre but I’m so glad I was offered the chance to listen to this audio book. The characters are loveable and the plot is comical yet heartwarming. I enjoyed the fact it focused on online app dating. This was such an enjoyable read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a little predictable but I think that made me enjoy it more. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Stephie Chapman is certainly an author I’ll be keeping my eye on.

Swipe Right was an occasionally funny and somewhat revolutionary take on the traditional romantically comedic book of the genre. Chapman's speech is often a little stilted and when listening to the audiobook this does come across and was my main issue with the book as it left it feeling a little hard to get into.
It was, however, lighthearted and amusing and tackled within it's pages some difficult subjects such as consent and revenge porn for which i appreciated.
It also featured a main character who, unlike many of the genre, wasn't content to settle and have life handed to her after meeting the man and falling in love, she made it happen for herself and happened upon love organically and over a reasonable timeframe.

I loved this audio book. The narration was great and the story was completely engaging and felt fresh and uplifting.

I enjoyed this book so much, I loved the main character Fran and watching her journey throughout the book makes you want to laugh with her, cry with her, sympathise with her but sometimes also get frustrated with her! This book gives you all the feels, the author takes you on a hell of a journey and does it so well. I’ll definitely be hunting for more of the authors work.
Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for letting me read an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Swipe Right is a charming story which wasn’t too taxing to listen to and provided great escapism and relaxation between my night shifts. I liked the setting, with Viral Hive and Tinder being featured, as it felt modern and although a little young for my personal experience, it was nice to have that perspective. I think the storyline is rather predictable but that isn’t to take away from it at all - it’s all about choosing the right book at the right time and this one is a go to for something fun and cheerful.

After attempting to listen to this audio book, I have made the decision once and for all, that audio books aren't for me.
I just can't seem to concentrate enough to remember any of the characters names or anything.
That said, I have already read the actual book of this before and I really enjoyed it, so will add the review for that because it's very enjoyable.
I absolutely loved this book and not only did it have me laughing out loud in places, I actually snorted out loud too!
Fran is the sort of person that I know I could easily be friends with, and I liked Ollie from the start too so enjoyed getting to know their characters.
Fantastic book .... Would definitely recommend

I couldn't even finish this audiobook.
The narrators voice was not pleasant to listen to and that's kind of important in an audiobook.
What I was able to listen through, was boring and honestly a little silly. I couldn't get into it and I usually enjoy stories like this one.

Standard run-of-the-mill chick lit. A cute read to pass the time but not very memorable as I don't remember what happened in this book.

Massively funny, hugely entertaining and wholeheartedly addictive. This was such a great book and works perfectly as an audiobook.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review - Swipe Right by Stephie Chapman
This review has been made possible thanks to @NetGalley and Saga Egmont Audio for providing me with an Advance Reader’s Copy in exchange for an honest review.
The story follows Fran and Ollie, both interviewing for the same role at a media production company. They have chemistry from the get go, sparks fly and arguments start. While Fran is with her insufferable boyfriend Lucas, and Ollie is dating Mean Lou, they develop a friendship. While Ollie and Lou go on a world tour and Fran is recovering from a bad breakup, she starts an anonymous dating column for Hive. But when things go wrong with the guys she’s dating, who will Fran turn to for comfort and advice?
It feels very fun, I loved the premise and the enemies to friends to lovers trope going in and it feels like a Buzzfeed environment meets early 2000s rom-com situation and I’m here for it! I love the chemistry between the characters. I couldn’t put it down! Even though the audiobook ended, I still wanted to hear more about these two! I felt like the character development was really well executed. The supporting characters had lives and storylines of their own that also advance in the background.
I’d highly recommend this as an excellent romcom and on the whole really entertaining novel about social media, dating and relationships in general and how important it is to have people to confide in.

When Fran goes for an interview at a media company, she has competition; but when she gets offered the job she's ecstatic.
What she doesn't know is her competition, Oliver Taylor, has been offered the job as well.
But can these two keep the friction at a minimum and learn to work together?
Or is the friction something more, and they just don't know about it yet?
The blossoming of their relationship I found beautiful, also a little hard work, but it wasn't meant to be easy.
The romance and how it concludes is predictable, but it's meant to be, it's stated in the title, but Chapman throws us a few curveballs, and a big rejection before getting us back on track.
I couldn't help chuckling about the 'curse of the cigarette,' as this is all true and I have experienced this many times.
I loved the fire in the character of Fran and this novel showed a stage of growth for her, learning from her mistakes and knowing her limitations.
And what an amazing place to work!!!! Maxine, the boss, is awesome! And the energy for Fran's team is so supportive. I loved how well this workplace was written that I genuinely hope it exists; I would love to work there!
A really enjoyable romance read.

Sassy, sexy and fun, Stephie Chapman's "Swipe Right" is a solid rom-com. I listened to the audiobook which was well narrated by Emma Carter.

Yet another rom-com where the narration was really good, but the characters and their spark were simply not as great as I had hoped and actions were not always explained.
The story is about Fran and her dating life. The first half of the book I wondered about the title of the book and whether Fran would ever stand up to her boyfriend who basically treated her like crap. Then the second half is about a dating blog for work where it seems like there are no normal men available and this at time did lead to some giggles. Time flew by, some big jumps in time and parts where I thought there would be more about were skipped over and other parts went into more details then I needed… you may want to listen to this book with headphones on! Just a small hint 🎧
The story is pretty predictable and the characters lacked some depth, but the narration still made it enjoyable.
Trigger warnings: graphic talk of sex, BJ etc, cheating, polyamory
I would like to thank the author, the publisher and NetGalley for the chance to listen to this story in return for an honest review.

This book is a romantic comedy which is easy to read and it is fun for the summer. Fran and Ollie are working together and become great friends. Fran starts dating online after her relationship ends. She swipes right a lot of times on the dating app on her phone, to try and find the love of her life. But is he already in her life? Ollie has a girlfriend, who he travels around the world with, but will this work out for him? The story is good and the characters are likeable. I was a bit surprised at the amount of sexual talk in the book, but if that is your thing, you will enjoy it. Overall, I enjoyed the book.
The narrator of the audiobook was very good and the netgalley app worked well for me as always. I love the netgalley audiobooks!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
